Installed mod to disable dynamic resolution.
No issues playing online
XIVLauncher was dead simple to set up and FFXIV works perfectly when launched through it.
Make sure Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime is installed
Flawless experience with no tinkering
cTDP and GPU clock speed can be set to minimum values and still maintain 60fps
Great multiplayer experience
Played with default settings docked at 1080p.
No issues whatsoever
Deck downloads and runs the Windows version by default.
Great game for Deck
Will occasionally hang before the main menu if there is no internet connection.
Great Switch port for Deck
Unlimited framerate recommended
Will need to remap controls if you choose PlayStation button prompts
Works perfectly out of the box
Used Play Together to simulate local play
Set A to left mouse button
Runs perfectly with default settings.
Changed DPad to Left Stick
Switch right trackpad to mouse mode for easy moving of the in-game cursor.
Game is a fantastic fit for the Deck.
Game is a battery hog. Set texture quality and shadows to low. FSR and TDP adjustments are your best friend. Was able to pull a maximum of 4.5 hours at 540p30 with FSR enabled.
Windowed/borderless is too large. Use fullscreen.
Well it's Peppa Pig. It works though.
Recommend setting resolution to 720p instead of 800p due to a border the game puts on the corners. This will look odd rendering at 800p.
Runs great with no tinkering.
Could not find any other players, but it's not Proton's fault.
Not sure there are other players online, but single player feels native.
Works perfectly with default settings
Use GE for Japanese voiced cutscenes if you choose to play with the Japanese voiceover
Works great out of the box
Trackpad or gyro recommended for camera movement
Some in-game text is pretty small, but readable
Aside from the virtual keyboard bugginess, the game plays perfectly.
Mash the keys on the virtual keyboard when the game asks you to name anything. Eventually it'll put in the character in the text field. Physical keyboard works fine.
Perfect for Deck
Dropped TDP and GPU to minimum values
As long as background music isn't a dealbreaker, the game plays perfectly on Deck.
No background music
Tested with Proton 7.0-2, Experimental, and GE-Proton7-17. All played identically.
Copied D3Dcompiler_46.dll from Metal Slug 3 to the Twinkle Star Sprite's files
May need to start game in desktop mode to set correct display settings.
Unable to exit game from main menu. Use the "Exit game" option from the Steam menu instead.
Stable 60fps with a few minor exceptions in extremely busy battles using following game settings:
Resolution - 1280x720@60
Anti-aliasing - Disabled
Transparency supersampling - Disabled
Anisotropic filtering - Enabled
Shadow - Medium
Shadow distance - Low
Shadow filtering - Off
Ambient - Off
Draw distant - Console
Higher quality postprocessing - Disabled
Runs perfectly out of the box
3 person local multiplayer with the built-in controls and 2 Bluetooth Xbox controllers was flawless.
Gameplay works fine under Proton, however videos didn't play until Proton-GE was used.
First launch uses a tricky configuration wizard. Will need to remap a trackpad to a mouse or use the touch screen.
