Moving the camera around might result in temporary stuttering (audio not affected). It seems to only happen on a high frame rate output (240+ FPS), however - limiting the frame rate to 120 FPS fixes the issue.
Sometimes, the game doesn't start in fullscreen mode, which can be fixed by either pressing the Alt+Enter key combination twice or switching to another workspace and back.
On certain Proton versions, the mouse sensitivity is significantly higher.
Without toggling the Proton override in the game's settings, the game freezes within seconds after landing in the main menu.
When toggling the Proton version override in the game's settings, Steam starts re-downloading the game - this can be reverted by pausing the update, toggling the switch back, and resuming the update.
Setting custom version of Proton fixes an inevitable freeze in the main menu seconds after loading into it. Playing on most common refresh rate monitors will lead to next to no issues - on high frame rates, the game might stutter, but capping it on a lower value resolves it. On certain setups, the game might not launch in fullscreen mode (in my case, it was Waybar on Hyprland blocking a part of the view) - switching workspaces usually lets the game take up the whole screen. Alternatively, switching to windowed mode and back should also work.

Despite being natively supported for linux, it still seems to require a compatibility layer to run smoothly.
Sudden flickers, misplaced textures, incorrect rendering priorities
Major stutters and freezes
The stutters caused weird behaviour when playing as client

Make sure to enable Proton instead of using the native build. The native build had a ton of issues, most notably massive frame drops all the time, and then lots of graphical degredations. The native build is genuinely unplayable. Proton works great.
Works without issues
using native install, the game froze and crashed every few minutes into a launch

Runs out of the box
Works without issues

Native is borked, freezes for several seconds every couple frames. Use proton.

It's fun game to play with.. you guessed it: your friends!
Works without any glitches or performance problems as far as I can tell

Frequent and random freezes when playing online with native version
Works fine aside from freezes for native, switching to Proton GE fixed issue entirely

Native build has issues. Force enable proton
First I played the native build of the game but had really bad freezes every 1-3 minutes that would completely freeze my PC including sound for around 3-10 seconds. When I switched to Proton9.0-2 the issues were gone

Native build works perfectly
No problems playing online with plenty of other people
Flawless Native
Game freezes on loading screen

gamemoderun %command%
No issues whatsoever.

game runs flawlessly, including multiplayer!

gamemoderun %command%
Works flawlessly, only added launch command for better peformance
Worked out of the box - played the same as windows
Runs as expected without issues
Native works perfectly fine if you don't mind the occasional flickering texture
Some textures for wall decorations and other set pieces are prone to flickering. This is most noticeable in The Escapists and Space Station levels.
Controller not tested.
Fonctionne mieux que la version Native.
Deck downloads and runs the Windows version by default.

Runs great, I've not tried the native linux version but this windows version runs so well I don't see any visual difference at all.
Fun game but can also be very frustrating. I've not ran into any issues with proton while playing this game.
Game runs perfectly

Native version was horrible. Lagging, mouse input was acting weird, menu buttons flashing and not registering clicks.
Proton version runs really good.
Both native and Proton versions run pretty well. However, I had a few crashes of the native version, approximately every 2-3 hours of game time. The proton version runs perfectly stable.
Tried both natively and with proton. Seemed to work great both ways.
I only used practice mode in native. I played with friends for about two hours on proton without any issues. Both though seemed reliable and performant. Ultra settings 1440p 144hz on my hardware.
Native version sucks, but with Proton it works flawlessly
