Runs out of the box.
Great, it runs well on linux without any tinkering, even controller are like natively support!
Played for 7 hours and kept the deck plugged into the charger. Didn't experience any game-breaking issues or slowdown during my playthrough today.
Played on a fully updated Steam Deck (256GB edition) with the game installed on the local storage, approx. 30 minutes after unboxing and updating the device.
Game does not work perfectly well with the keyboard. Need to spam each letter for the game to accept a keyboard input.
Game works perfectly and runs smoothly
Did not play much of the game but what I did play worked great with Proton 7.0-3
Tested with a Steam Controller on KDE Plasma Wayland
Game runs smooth and without problems. even on multi Monitor setup no problems whatsoever.
Aside from the virtual keyboard bugginess, the game plays perfectly.
Mash the keys on the virtual keyboard when the game asks you to name anything. Eventually it'll put in the character in the text field. Physical keyboard works fine.
Works perfectly on Deck with default settings. Physical keyboard needed to name character and farm, as virtual keyboard does not work.
Virtual keyboard does not interface with game properly. A physical keyboard must be temporarily attached to name character and farm.
It only happen when you press movement key for long time, it will not stop moving for 3 secs after releasing the key
Game runs better on Linux then my Windows PC and that one has a RX 5700 XT. I had stuttering on that machine.
Gamepad recommended but not required.
Players does not have to do any extra steps to be able to play the game.
Worked perfectly out of the box
While a key on the keyboard is pressed, the mouse cursor becomes laggy. Worked perfectly with my xbox controller.
The configuration tool doesn't work, but the settings are available in the game.
Super smooth gameplay, one click install & play. You'd think there was a native Linux version.
Runs very smoothly, X360 controller works out of the box. Make sure to use DXVK (Vulkan) if your hardware supports it.
Slight graphical glitching (random floating textures) when I was playing in OpenGL mode via DirectD3D on hardware that didn't support Vulkan. No issues when using DXVK (Vulkan).
Avoid using the configuration tool, it requires .NET Framework 4.0+, doesn't work with Mono, it's a pain in the ass but honestly, this game works out of the box, not sure why the config tool is even included in this game. Best to ignore it.
Games works flawlessly, just hit install and play.
While streaming the game to my TV using Steam Link, using a Steam Controller, after some time of playing the icons of the controller disappear. However using a Xbox 360 controller works without issues. Game is absolutely playable. Tried with Proton GE and the issues is still there.
Awesome game, works without issues. It even supports Steam Controller (Icons only).
Works out of the box, should be whitelisted.
Laggy cursor when any button is pressed. Didn't affect my experience since I play using an Xbox 360 controller (which works out of the box btw)
After playing this game about 15 hours, i can confirm this game run pretty smooth on proton 5. If you use proton 4 , you will notice mouse input lag. i recommend using proton 5 or protonGE to play this game. Controller working just perfectly (tested on xbox one s wireless).
Just click play button > close your eyes > and Taaadaa~
Welcome back farmer~
Runs well without any problems
I didn't try playing with my DS4 but keyboards controls are nice and it's working well here.
While moving with keyboard, cursor becomes laggy.
Configuration tool doesn't launch.
Mostly played with gamepad and that worked perfectly. Trying keyboard+mouse on my setup gave me a laggy cursor while moving, though, and sometimes a direction got stuck for a bit like it was buffering. This didn't happen on gamepad, though. Maybe an IBus issue since I have that set up for other inputs?
Also running with RADV_PERFTEST=aco and it's been fine. Performance in general has been really good. It's a game with simpler graphics that actually runs as though it has simpler graphics instead of chugging at 720p like, for example, some Unity games I've played.
sure, i think everything seems work perfectly.
i tested this game with proton 4.11, proton 5.09 and protonGE 5.9 ST. u will notice input lag only in proton 4.11
cursor lag when using proton 4.11
i only play the game about 45 minutes btw. so everything seems work perfectly. i already test with proton 4.11, proton 5.09 and proton GE 5.9-3-ST and the only problem that i get is input lag when using proton 4.11, the other just fine. i tested this game using my xbox one s bluetooth controller too and its working.
configuration tools seems not working. just play the game btw. u can setting the config in game.
