Native version doesn't launch at all, proton gets to menu but crashes after few seconds in-game.
Tried many different versions of proton, game would crash instantly when trying to load cloud save from windows version. Starting new game works, but game crashes all the same after a few seconds.
Played through the entire game using touchpad inputs, didn't run into any issues.
Works flawlessly, including bethesda account stuff, ray tracing and DLSS. Performance is on par with windows.
Works flawlessly. Performance is on par with windows.
Game works absolutely flawlessly, including the launcher.
The performance was very good in the first chapter but later levels feature frequent FPS drops making it hard to recommend.
Game slows down to 20-30 fps in certain levels, starting from chapter 2.
It's possible, that the aforementioned slowdown is due to some graphical settings, but I had no luck switching them back and forth. In comparison, game ran very smoothly on windows on the same levels.
Only real issue is lack of proper widescreen support. Game is a basic port from NDS, so it's locked to 4:3 with borders.
Performance is great, game is not demanding so you can easily get around 6hrs of playtime on a single charge.
By default game binds right trigger to action + strafing. You can change it easily in the menu, but it resets after restarting the game. Strange.
Works right out of the box at locked 60 fps with around 4hrs of battery life.
Most settings at high, textures at Max, volumetrics low, locked fps to 40 and game had no issues hitting that during missions
Probably game bug that has nothing to do with proton but audio would occasionally desync during prerendered cutscenes. Sometimes audio wÄ…s crackling after waking the device up.
Probably related to HDR, but right and bottom edge of my screen would show little light artifacts. I could not determine exactly what caused it as it was seemingly random and happened only occasionally
Game fits well on the small screen
Epic store version installed using heroic. Does not launch no matter the settings used.
Game works perfectly fine once mangohud is disabled. Game is capped at 62fps, and the performance is rock solid once shader cache is built.
Overall runs very well without any tweaks.
Mouse was strangely laggy in the menus.
Game slows down significantly during later levels with lots of particle effects/enemies on screen, but other than that it runs alright with dynamic shadows turned off.
The game slows down to about 80 FPS in areas with lots of monsters.
Game runs at pretty stable 144 fps. However, no matter what I tried I couldn't get ray tracing or DLSS to work.
Game would rarely crash couple minutes after making a manual save. Since it happened only right after saving I didn't find it to be a big deal.
Game crashes very frequently. I've tried different proton versions, locking FPS, changing graphical settings - nothing helped.
Game was not stable enough to play on my setup. Lack of manual saving also means potentially losing significant amount of time restarting the game and hoping it won't crash. Performance was good tho, and I didn't experience any other issues with the game.
60 FPS lock
Performance is about on par with windows (which is to say it's bad, but not necesserily fault of linux)
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amd_ags_x64.dll=b" %command%
Graphical glitches all over the game.
Without the launch parameters the game sees only 6GBs of VRAM, and with it there are graphical artifacts. I've also tried different proton versions/launch parameters but nothing allowed me to play it comfortably.
Fantastic game, runs easily at over 60FPS at default settings if you don't mind active cooling.
Locked fps to 45, it stopped the fans from ramping up and gave a good 4hr+ battery life.
Deck runs it at 90 FPS, tho I've limited it to 60 for better battery life and to reduce fan noise.
Works perfectly fine when using Proton Experimental. Does not launch using default Proton with an error of "missing executable"
Game runs perfectly well either using proton experimental or beta channel. Does not launch without tinkering though.
Runs well out of the box minus the controller issues.
Playing on 8bitdo ultimate bluetooth - game requires long pressing of inputs to register in certain menus. Very strange, because everything else (except map overlay bound to down on d-pad) works perfectly well and gameplay is overall smooth and responsive.
Locked to 60 FPS you get roughly 6 hours of battery life, great game to play on the deck.
