Works fine with GE-Proton9-22, FSync and Mangohud both enabled in Heroic launcher vcredist2015_2017_2019_2022_x64.exe
Works fine with GE-Proton9-22, FSync and Mangohud both enabled in Heroic launcher Had to run vcredist2015_2017_2019_2022_x64.exe on prefix in Heroic Launcher to get the game working.

mangohud gamemoderun %command%
after hour playing, fps drop and game very laggy
its playable but having perfomance issue
mangohud PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 gamemoderun %command%
Works well out of the box

MANGOHUD=1 gamemoderun %command%
RADV_PERFTEST=gpl,nggc,sam
Game runs great out of the box, framerate is very stable
Works perfectly fine
Seems to work great out of the box.
Runs great, no issues found on my setup
Worked fine out of thebox. Player DX12 version - performance was great.

No issues completing the game in DX12
Played through the entire game without issues on DX12, using mouse and keyboard. Did not try controllers.

Flawless experience like the original, + DX12 seems to work.
I tried both DX11 and DX12 for a while, both worked OK. I stayed on DX12 for the last maps. I had no crashes in my 20h of gameplay, but maybe I got lucky and involuntarily avoided the moment when DX12 mode crashes. Anyway, flawless experience for me (like the original).

Just in one level where SPOILER you are outside of Dharma

While this doesn't bother me that much, the low framerate can definitely be a turn off for the average gamer
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia %command%
Some areas in the game drop the framerate to ~45 FPS, even on lowest settings, whereas the first game ran smoothly throughout the whole game

Runs perfectly fine out of the box!
All settings to work as expected FSR, etc.

gamemoderun %command% -nolauncher -dx12
To enable Ray tracing, it'll be a funny config: make sure that "launch in DirectX 11" is ticked in the properties of the game, then in the launch command, add the -dx12 flag (i know, it sounds stupid, but trust me).
That will launch the game with VKD3D (so DX12) anyways, and at that point, Ray tracing will be shown in the menus (It was hidden before).
I must warn you tho, it WILL make your game a HELL lot slower, and the shader compiler will spit at your face.
DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Walking into some holograms in the hub area caused artifacting and flashing.

PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
No complaints. Launch options added for DLSS support on Nvidia cards.

DXVK_ASYNC=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr12,dxr RADV_PERFTEST='rt' %command% -dx12
Starting the Game was pretty easy. I just added the Launch options and it worked (since I already have GE-Proton8-22 as my default).

MANGOHUD=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11,dxr RADV_PERFTEST='rt' gamemoderun %command%
There were some occasional crashes when using DX12, especially on one stage. The fix is using DX11 and these crashes seem to affect windows too

Even with these areas where the performance is bad, the game is perfectly playable and I had enjoyed it so much.
DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
In some areas there are performance issues. It's not Linux related problem. As I know from friends on Windows, they have same issues.

VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr,dxr11 RADV_PERFTEST=rt gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Audio doesn't play (other than in the intro movies) when my audio interface is using a certain profile with Pipewire/wireplumber. But, changing the profile via pavucontrol
fixed it. I've never had this problem with any other program.
I don't use WASD and occasionally my custom "strafe right" key would stop doing anything. Sometimes restarting the game would fix it, sometimes it wouldn't. I don't see any potential correlations with anything. Weirdly, even while my custom bind wasn't working, restoring the default and using that key worked fine, but rebinding it back to what I want broke it again. The key definitely isn't the problem, as I could input the key into other programs while the game was ignoring its inputs. Didn't test this on Windows, so this issue might be present on both platforms.
Despite my configuration options and launching in DX12 mode, it seems RT is unavailable as I don't see any options for it in the settings. The stuttering other people (and myself, actually) were running into in the demo seems to be gone in the full game, which is nice.

PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
DX11 has significant stuttering. Likewise proton 8.04 also stutters. Experimental + Dx12 mode is the way to go. No issues for me with this setup. I noticed it hitch a couple times at the very start. after the first 2 minor hitches it never does it again for the whole session. Some cutscenes have minor stutter. Nothing that ruins the experience for me. Runs great I have it capped at 144fps for my 170hz monitor. dlss is on balanced everything is on high 1440p. Make sure you use the command PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command% as dlss doesnt work without it it seems.
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
Microstutter fixed after using PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
as suggested by Endee, however any time you try and fight a Shinobi the game freezes for a solid 0.5 - 2 seconds. This makes playing it close to impossible, as they are a common enemy.
Seems fun, but it looks like the game is not really playable for now

Occasional minkmal fps dfop but only to 50 fps so nothing really to fuss over.

Massive stuttering, memory leak during certain animations
Contact with shinobis cause massive memory leaks (rapidly ran out of ram with 32GB)

PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
Game crashes under VKD3D when enabling ray tracing, but this appears to be an issue under Windows as well
custom command is necessary to allow DLSS to be enabled.

[DEMO] [Hyprland] Playable but has freezes when fighting
The game freezes for 1 or 2 seconds when playing an animation (Dying, Parying...)
Lots of freezes on animations, might not be the case on the game release

occasional lagspikes when fighting enemies caused the whole game too freeze - not sure if it's Proton/Linux or due to the game not being fully released yet
This is based on the demo of the game, 5 weeks before official launch, so the performance issues I experienced could only get better - no tinkering required to play the game

If performance issues are fixed, the experience would be great as the game has no issues reaching high framerates... before it gets stuttery
PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 gamemoderun %command%
Shader compilation stutters are present, plus random slowdowns in combat, especially when parrying, which seem to cause the GPU utilization to significantly decrease... below 10%, before going up again to normal values, creating temporary freezes that are a substantial detriment to the experience.
This report is based on my experience with the demo of the game. Performance may change both negatively or positively in the final version when it releases, I just wanted to let people know.
