- Character progress does not save unless you create symbolic link of your /home//.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Alien Swarm Reactive Drop/reactivedrop/cfg/ folder (the cfg folder itself; right click "make link" on the cfg folder to make a symbolic link) and browse to /home//.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/563560/pfx/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Steam/ and create the following folders within that directory: /steam/steamapps/common/Alien Swarm Reactive Drop/reactivedrop/ and put the cfg symbolic link there, rename it from "Link to cfg" to just "cfg" (without quotes). With the above instructions, being your steam user name, so change that to what your user name is. That will fix the game not maintaining character progression.

- On First Launch if you received Errors installing redistributions just Spam Click "Abort/No" game works fine regardless
- Uplay will warn you that Overlay is Disabled just click "Launch Game (not recommended)" Button and continue

Using Proton 4.20 GE-1 comes with lots of stutters.
TO PLAY ON LINUX
- Use other Proton Version if you are having bright screen issues.
- turning off the Uplay & Steam overlay will improve the performance.
- eagle-eye view generates bright fog that doesn't disappear when you quit eagle-eye view.
- Proton Version I use that works Proton 4.15 GE-4 [has less stutter] (removes the bright screen bug)
- Using Proton 4.20 GE-1 removes bright screen bug but also come with lots of stutters.
- Incase you changed your resolution and encounter blackscreen bug just delete ACR.ini located in "~\steamapps\compatdata\201870\pfx\drive_c\users\steamuser\My Documents\Assassin's Creed Revelations" delete the file named "ACRevelations.ini" or edit Display W & H. or using "%command% -w 1920 -h 1080" launch option.

Using Proton-4.20-GE-1 even when on fullscreen mode the game is stuck on 800x600 resolution nothing happens when changing resolution or aspect ratio but by applying "No Launcher Fix" after Rockstar Game Launcher updates then quitting the game then replacing the original files back again fixes the issue.

- Proton-4.20-GE-1 Doesn't need "No Launcher Fix" if using this version
- GTA Online crashes from time to time but it appears to be a common issue among all users on different platforms after the Casino update (this happens only when using Proton 4.11-7 and Proton 4.11-8 but using Proton-4.20-GE-1 the game doesn't crash even after 6 hours of continues game time).
- NAT Restrictions are still in place if you get disconnected or can't connect to your friends it is probably because of NAT Restriction but by using VPN fixes the problem making your NAT Default to "Medium" Status Instead of "Strict" now you can play with people who have "Medium" and "Open" Nat Status you can check NAT Status by pressing "Home" then clicking Cog Wheel Icon then going to "Network Information"
- Note That Playing while VPN is active you will experience Bugs like NPC Missing or Can't Interact with NPC selling clothes,guns,ammo etc.. also some random cars spawning , television is not sync radio not sync if other players not using same VPN Connection as you, other than that all heist and openworld missions and jobs are working fine unless some guy with "Strict" NAT Joins then expect disconnections.
- Using Proton-4.20-GE-1 even when on fullscreen mode the game is stuck on 800x600 resolution nothing happens when changing resolution or aspect ratio but by applying "No Launcher Fix" after Rockstar Game Launcher updates then quitting the game then replacing the original files back again fixes the issue.

- Fix Audio using "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" %command%" as Launch Option
- Use Either Default Proton version "4.11-9" or Proton-4.15-GE-4 but For Me I use Proton 4.15 GE-4 (with additional Fixes)
- Set vsync on/off in game, not auto.
- Turn off bulk downloads in the launcher otherwise large updates will fail. This will remove the progress bar and the launcher will simply say "Checking for Content" until it completes.
- Warframe on Linux has a weird issue where it will crash after about 5 minutes of play time if it does not detect a controller present. There is a way around this by installing xboxdrv as a service. - if there are still crashes set vsync to off and reboot the game to prevent weird crashes
- Game Might crash on Fullscreen Mode use either window mode or windowed fullscreen
- Start xboxdrv before running:
sudo systemctl start xboxdrv
- First ever run has unplayable fps but switching vsync in game to either on or off (instead of auto) fixes it.
- Disable "Bulk Download" on Launcher else you will be stuck at "Checking for Updates"
- Game runs fine reaching 160 - 170 fps and 6 -7 ms
