Broken under KDE Plasma 6.2. No matter which Proton version.
Ran perfect, somewhat slow to start but runs great once it does

Installed and launched without any issues. No tinkering required.
There's nothing to change or tweak. You should definitely enjoy it on the deck!
Ran perfectly for me. I'm using Cryobyte33's Cryoutilities 2.0 on recommended settings.
If for whatever reason the controller gets disconnected it won't work again until you restart the game. A shame if playing in Docked mode
A big part of this game is that the save game will get carried to Life is Strange 2
This won't work because Proton makes different filesystems for each game (called prefixes). So each games thinks they're the only game in the windows installation.
So when Life is Strange 2 looks for captain spirit savegame it just won't find it. You can go ahead without it (I don't think it really matters that much) or you have to manually copy the file from one prefix to the other
Just copy the folder <Steam-folder>/steamapps/compatdata/845070/pfx/users/steamuser/appdata/local/Dontnod/<user-id>/CaptainSpirit
to <Steam-folder>/steamapps/compatdata/532210/pfx/users/steamuser/appdata/local/Dontnod/<user-id>/CaptainSpirit
The game should now detect the game properly
Good game, no problems while playing using a Xbox bluetooth controller.
In my playthrough the save wouldn't link up with Life Is Strange 2, i think it may have been a steam cloud sync issue. Otherwise the game performance was PERFECT

Works perfectly out of the box, no issues (loads fast & no stuttering)
Played the whole game (with a Xbox 360 controller, mouse & keyboard work fine, too).
works perfectly with only minor stuttering because of the compiler
OOTB no issues
No changes needed.
Works well.
Very slow loading times.
Works fine. Can't wait to play the second game.
Works perfectly
Input sometimes feels a bit laggy, though I think it's just part of the game
Previously, I could not run the game because 4GB RAM was not enough. With 8GB, everything works.
Other than mouse being slow in the main menu, everything is fine!
Input lag, mouse was slow
Game works great out of the box. Can't complain.
Flawless out of the box
flawless
Note that the savegames do not carry over to the native version of Life is Strange 2, like they do in the Windows version. If that's important to you, you'll have to play LiS2 in Proton as well (and copy the saves to the LiS2 prefix manually), but IMHO it's no great loss.
Works fine with DXVK
feralinteractive gamemode helped with FPS
Works Out-of-the-Box
- Works with no modifications needed
- Proton Version I use for testing Proton 4.11-7,Proton 4.11-8,Proton 4.11-9.
mouse was half/a quarter second behind
Played through the entire game. Zero issues.

Minor performance problems for the first start with default graphical settings. Set the FPS limiter to fluid running. After this, the game is seems perfect!

Everything went perfectly.
