17 hours overallSteam version probably works for most but didn't work for me. Lutris installed and ran perfectly after a minor configuration change.
Tinker Steps:Launcher: Lutris, Custom Proton: Wine-GE-8-26, Lutris
Steam version would not work, no matter the proton version I used.
Switched to Lutris but the script was incorrectly configured and after install the Lutris runner pointed to the uninstall executable.
Had to fix by right clicking on the game and going to: Configure > Game Options > Executable and changing it from .../RotMG Exalt Launcher/Unistall RotMG Exalt Launcher.exe to .../RotMG Exalt Launcher/RotMG Exalt Launcher.exe
No idea why it defaulted to the uninstall executable.
