slight crackling after playing for a while. again, same on windows though
after playing for a few hours FPS seemed to drop over time; especially noticeable when fast-travelling around. a restart fixes everything. i dont think this is Linux-related though, as im having the same issues on my more powerful Windows machine.
Some lagging, nothing that hampers the experience.

gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Le son est un peu déformé à certains moments ou craque légèrement
Sur proton Hotfix : Ralentissement fréquent, stutter. Sur proton GE : aucun soucis, plus de 100 FPS

Works OOTB
No issues, runs perfectly
gamemode

Plays great on Deck OLED with two settings modes and Draw Distance set to medium:
- 90fps: Set in-game Framerate to Vsync/2, then set QAM to Disable Frame Limit, TDP Limit 12 Watts. Seems pretty stable, sometimes dips into 80s
- 60fps: Set in-game Framerate to 60fps, then set QAM to 90 FPS limit (or try disable frame limit, allow tearing). Seems pretty stable, sometimes dips to 57. Towns with NPCs always slow down a bit.

Works great, except for frame drops when flying the bike. No improvement despite changing FPS/graphics, GE-Proton, etc. Good game.
Lower FPS = greater battery, but who cares? It's beautiful.
Some stuttering when FPS drops.
Love this game, please play it even with the FPS drops! I wish we could get it to run flawlessly but it's still worth it as is.

Poor performance and frequent crashes made me refund this game. The audio crackling happened no matter what Proton version I used.
Also tried Proton 9
The crackling is very bad.
Constant stuttering and slowdowns
Crashed almost every 15 mins after getting outside the tutorial area.

Do yourself a favor and update to Proton9.1. You'll get WAY better fps(60fps) in many places w/ max settings!
If not running Proton > 9.0
This game runs so well with a newer version of proton, just update to use v9. You'll get a massive fps boost.
Runs fine, no issues.
Frame rate drops on Steam Deck is too much to enjoy playing it.
Heavy frame rate drops

Game was stuck on the initial loading screen. Switching to GE fixed the issue.
Game drops frames heavily. It gets worse after about an hour of playing. Exiting to main menu and continuing made it work better again.
40 Hz limit
The game runs okay in the first area, but when you enter the city or a more complex room, the performance tanks and the Deck barely manages 15-20 fps. The camera rotation speed is tied to fps, which is very annoying. It's okay at around 40 fps in open world.

Works great on Steam Deck

Works beautifully right away!
Such a wonderful game, I have been really surprised with the performance so far!
Works great out of the box

Sometimes the mouse cursor turns invisible in menus
I've gotten past the starting area and haven't experienced any of the slowdowns or audio issues that others have reported. ~100fps at 3440x1440.
Weird audio stuttering issue throught the entire game, especially noticeable when riding the bike. Performance was good through most of the game beside huge fps drops in woody areas.
No issues whatsoever. Runs like a dream.
Major frame drops once you get into the game and are on a hoverbike. Others say it's OK, but I felt it made it unplayable and gave up on finishing even though I really wanted to be able to finish the game.
Wish performance was better on Steam Deck. A friend played it on PC and had frame drop issues there too - but wasn't as bad as on the deck.
Crackling after disconnecting from dock or waking up. Also stuttering audio in most areas, but that seems to be a universal problem, not just on Deck.
My local save file was unpromptedly replaced with cloud one, which was several days old for some reason.
Noticeble fps dips, especially while riding a bike in any zones after the first two
Draw distance setting seems to impact performance the most. Just bump it up while surveying the area from high ground, then turn it down again.

Sometimes the background audio is crackling.
Played the EGS version.
Aside from the audio issue no other issues. I experienced no major frame drops or performance issues.

Lovely game, not great performance but can be overlooked if you do as little hoverbiking as possible.
Refresh rate at 40hz, in game frame cap at 24fps
Coincides with frame drops
24fps isn't great but it's very playable as many animations are actually less than 24fps so it fits the style. Many frames are dropped on the hoverbike though, so if you want to spend a lot of time biking, it isn't pleasant to play. Also I lost a lot of frames in the SW region and in the final ending sequence, often down to 12fps.
Recommended tweaks:
- System refresh rate at 40hz
- In game graphics to low
- In game fps cap at 24

Some audio stuttering beside the framerate issue, again, due to bad optimization by devs.
Dual monitor (mirroring) might cause aspect ratio issues when switching from full screen windowed to full screen effective.
Just few frame slowdown in the widest spaces due to the game engine itself, but playable.
The game is playable, and I recommend to use distros like openSUSE or Manjaro in order to get the best possible hardware experience, especially with CPU threads. Those distros, in particular, are rock solid and underrated.
As it is now the game on steam deck loses too many frames during gameplay to be enjoyable.
Lots of frame drops even on lowest settings
Its a lovely game with low performance on deck.
The game is a calm surreal experience. The game works great out of the box with some minor frame drops, which are barely noticeable when playing at 24 or 30 fps. I'd advise you to play at 24 fps since that has the look congruent with the intentionally choppy animations. Further, the default night look can be changed in the settings, I'd recommend pushing up the colour a little bit (not too much!). Otherwise, the game plays perfectly well! Have fun!
Cannot recommend the game on the Deck in its current state, despite the Verified tag. Unstable performance.
Lots of framedrops and stutter
Despite frame rate drops, some good fun and the exploration was great. I just wish whatever loading was causing the fps to drop was fixed.
Regular drops in frame rate as low as 18 fps despite low CPU and GPU utilization.
Noticeable FPS drops when traveling on hoverbike
Dialogue menu is rarely unresponsive, have to quit and load latest save

Works very well out of the box
Occasional stutter
Running nicely so far
The game is poorly optimized even on Windows. It suffers in that regard, but I don't think it's because of proton.
Significant stuttering and slowdowns.
I played it from beginning to end and it ran flawlessly
No problem at all
When switching between fullscreen and windowed the game will continue playing but the screen is frozen.
