No issues, though the first time I launched it the controls (any template) didn't work. I rebooted the deck and everything worked after.
I did follow the SDHQ config suggestions for battery life.
Some weird artifacting at the very first climbing spot. Happened in two separate attempts. Otherwise not issues.
I only had an issue with the gamepad when I set Input -> "automatic detection of preferred gamepad" in the game options. Unchecking this fixed the issue. DO NOT CHECK THIS BOX.
This should be Platinum! Just don't be like me and check boxes without needing to. Do not check "automatic detection of preferred gamepad" in the game options.
Default font is small for me but the settings allow you to grow the size (Extra Large).
Great game, played with no errors ever. Finished in 21 hours. It is a battery suck, but I saw almost no FPS drops. I reckon there are ways to make it do better on battery, but I didn't look into it.

I had to add "PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%" to the launch options. So far, so good.
I've played 8 hours so far (one run-through). It's really wonderful and runs great on the steam deck, but the keyboard issue is annoying.
You must use a mouse or the steam deck touchpad/touch screen to play, especially if there are scrollbars. That's totally fine, but the main issue is that sometimes you must a keyboard. On the steam deck, the keyboard pops up on the top of the screen, blocking the text. You can move it to the bottom with shift + move button, but it moves back to the top the next time you have to type.
Great game, I wish the steam deck keyboard would appear on the bottom of the screen, not the top!
Works great, except for frame drops when flying the bike. No improvement despite changing FPS/graphics, GE-Proton, etc. Good game.
Lower FPS = greater battery, but who cares? It's beautiful.
Some stuttering when FPS drops.
Love this game, please play it even with the FPS drops! I wish we could get it to run flawlessly but it's still worth it as is.
