Despite following recommendations, game freezes whenever entering a status screen after obtaining the handgun.
Launch Flags:Disable D3D10, Disable D3D11, Disable Esync, Disable Fsync, Large Address Aware, Use D9VK
have tried various combinations of the flags listed over the course of 4 hours to no avail

Tried multiple confgurations, starting directly from steam, but found best results with Proton-GE.
Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE
When starting from Steam directly, the game crashed immediatly upon entering gameplay. I tried using a Steam native version of Proton, but the game crashed randomly. So, I moved on to Proton-GE and expreienced no issues.
