Overall this game runs perfectly without any tweaking. FPS: 60+. Minor issues:
Game crashed 2 times, but I don't know if it's game or proton fault (they are completely random)
Sometimes FPS in the main menu drops to +-20
Sometimes, when you open hangar menu, game loads only lowest quality textures of the jet
- Game needs some additional libraries to start. https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install worked for me.
- I renamed all files in AoEDE/Assets/Video/
Launcher works, but I can't open settings window. Game freezes at KOEI Tecmo logo
Main menu and settings works fine and you could even play beginning dialog, but then game crashes. I suspect it's because of cinematic intro.
Try to restart game every 2-3 hours if you don't want to be affected by performance drops.
It appears that after a several hours of non-stop gaming the game itself becoming slower. Just a minor inconvenience.

Native version lacks in performance compared to Windows version. Proton 5.0-9 gave additional +20 fps compared to native.
If your settings are set too high than you will get minor graphical artifacts and stability issues.
Aside from problems with graphical settings, proton 5.0-9 still crashes sometimes. The most stable proton version for this game is 4.2-9.
I was too lazy to install necessary fonts and played game by using proton. All works fine.
Aside from mentioned bugs and glitches you could view the 100% of the story. I don't know why else you would buy this game.
Main and settings menus are buggy and cause crashes. Sometimes images of a new scenes are not displayed properly and you have to wait a few new lines for images to be properly loaded.
Settings menu is buggy and cause crashes if you try to enter or change something.
All types of singleplayer matches works fine, but I had some noticeable audio crackling after 2-3 hours of gaming.
Works great. Performance comparable to windows version. Camera bug can be fixed by disabling "Full screen" mode, beside this I havn't experienced any troubles.
On proton 3.16-4 and previous versions I had network connection error. This error gone in proton 3.16-6 but the game stops at black screen while loading. When I returned to proton 3.16-4 all worked out fine except minor fps issues.
Game works fine in general, but I encounted several texture glitches. There were crashes as well. Also severe FPS drop when using teleport.
