With maximum settings, the Linux version experienced more lag than the Windows version
It runs stably, but there are minor lags with maximum settings
Instantly crashes when trying to start the game

Apart from some performance issues, very good Linux version
If POSTAL 2 didn't exist, I'd actually say that this game has the best Linux version I've seen so far. Apart from some performance issues that can probably be fixed with a good 'ol 'gamemoderun
in the launch options,' it's perfect. Even your progress will port from Windows to Linux! Now that's rare!

I had a weird issue with not being able to select the symptoms my disease would develop. Not with mouse, touchscreen, or anything else. It just didn't open and was blocking game progression.
This went away after forcing Proton experimental.

Somehow, trackpad swipe left and right is diagonal.

native version runs perfect
just install the linux-native version and enjoy this little game. "it just works"

Works great in native.
The game's executable has been renamed to PlagueIncEvolved.x86_64 but the launcher still tries to run PlagueIncEvolved.x86. Making a symlink fixed the problem.
Steam by default tries to load PlagueIncEvolved.x86, which does not exist. I fixed it by running link PlagueIncEvolved.x86_64 PlagueIncEvolved.x86 in the install directory to make a symlink by the name it expects that references the real executable, and it works identical to windows.
Does not run without the tweak I mentioned before.
Had to manually tweak the display settings
Amazing
The problem persists on both native and Proton versions
Native version has lover FPS than the one I launch with Proton
Native version might not even start for no reason and then crash when I try to close it manually, I don't know why it is as it is
In my case native version is unstable during the initial launch. When I'm able to do so, it works good enough, but Proton is still more convenient, so I will stick to that
Was able to play a full game without any issues.
Game runs perfectly.
Proton-7.1-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Mouse trapped within fullscreen, fullscreen-windowed mode fixes this
Works better than Native.
Native seems fps capped and Proton gets rid of the cap.
I actually tried native first but some buttons didn't work and couldn't play it. With Proton it runs perfect.
The Linux native build capped at 45-ish FPS. There were no hiccups, but it felt sluggish. The Windows build, ran with Proton 5.13-1, capped at 60 FPS and no hiccups. Multiplayer was not tested.
I was too lazy to install necessary fonts and played game by using proton. All works fine.
Game runs flawlessly
Worked out of the box using Proton 5.0-2
Work without any Problem!
Game does not start

Native linux version does not work for me, proton 4.11-8 worked perfectly

Game works native on Linux. On Proton it works out of the box. I installed manually D9VK and it worked as well fine with this DX9 to Vulkan translation.

Game works native and on Proton out of the box. I installed manually D9VK and it worked as well with this DX9 to Vulkan translation, but text rendering is borked completely with D9VK.
