On my system the ultra settings had poor performance. With high settings you have a very enjoyable experience.
Multiplayer does not work at the moment. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
In-game and intro videos do not work.
Use the method by bradleypariah below. Follow the steps in order otherwise it will not work. For me it fixed the video issue.
The game works after renaming the BorderlandsGOTY.exe to Launcher.exe in the steam/steamapps/common/BorderlandsGOTYEnhanced/Binaries/Win64/ directory. After that the game launched. It works flawlessly even on my older desktop. I am 27+ hours in on the second playthrough.
Everything works. The performance could be better but overall it runs fine.
The game runs smooth on high settings. The audio was broken but it was an easy fix. Same thing with the mouse issue... Aside from these two things I haven't seen any major problems. After the fix the game worked flawlessly.
Works after disabling uPlay overlay. The game runs well on high settings on my older computer. I tested it with a controller which also works as expected. Other than the uPlay stuff there were no issues.

When I launched the game there was no sound. The hardware sound is enabled by default which causes the issue. To fix the problem the following lines had to be added to the Mass Effect/BioGame/Config/DefaultEngine.ini file, under the ISACTAudio.ISACTAudioDevice section: DeviceName=Generic Software UseEffectsProcessing=False
After I restarted the game the audio worked fine.
The gameplay itself is smooth and I had no issues. It runs well on my older hardware too. Hopefully this audio issue will be fixed in some upcoming patches.

The game installs and launches without an issue. It runs well, but not completely smooth on my older hardware. Tested and works with a controller. Overall I am happy with how it runs and would recommend picking it up.
The game works great including cloud saves. The performance definitely improved from the previous build. Just install and play, no issues.
I played over 600 hours so far. In the settings I recommend turning off TAA completely if you experience crashes like "ERR_GFX_STATE".

Doesn't launch even though Steam suggests it should - "Runs on this computer via Steam Play". The splash screen pops up but nothing after.
Installation is ok, the main menu launches but it breaks after starting a new game.
The performance on high settings is not optimal, but the game itself installs and plays well on lower settings.
On high setting the frame rate is awful. On medium settings the game performs excellent.
