Sort out the controls and you're good to go
PS4 controller not supported
Proton 6.3-6
Might just been the first time I ran the game. Started in Windowed and the options menu wasn't accepting any input to allow me to change. Retried using PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% and was able to change, removed this option to retest and all working fine.
You can only run it in a window at 1280x720p. Controls are hard to rebind.
Window stayed at 1280x720p. Couldn't be fullscreened or changed. Fullscreen button didn't work.
Keyboard is always Player 1, Controller is always Player 2. Might be able to fix with Steam Input?
This game is old and written poorly, so this may just be part of the game being buggy in and of itself. It's very lackluster in terms of settings.
Gish is one of these early commercial indie games that was actually available on Linux natively, so it's kind of surprising that Steam does not offer that version. The Windows version works perfectly through Proton, though.
Only Sound. No Menu shown. Couldnt play the game
The game crashes after pressing the play button on Steam
The game immediately crashes upon pressing play using Proton Experimental.
The game works as expected. No problems!
Works perfectly fine
The game currently available on Steam is a re-release with multiple features missing, but it runs without any issues whatsoever.
Can't see the game - propably gfx issue
Window appears on screen but it's just black with white rectangular area in top right corner. Can hear game music.
