I've benn kicked from some games in Multiplayer-mode.
Had to switch to Proton-Experimental.
Just like I imagined
I just needed to tap the play button and it fired up. But sometimes I've heard a little crackling in the audio.
Won't start at all.
Tried GE-Proton, experimental, older versions but nothing worked. With Vanilla Wine it starts but then it crashes.
Works perfect!
No issues
I'm having zero issues. The multiplayer works without any issues. Overall, it's a great experience.
Crackling Audio an missing Textures but playable.
Almost all of the time objects start disappearing and flickering back in. But you can still play it.
At first everything was fine, but after each be updates I got less and less FPS.
When playing you will encounter missing Textures and objects but as long your not photo sensitive its okay. I love this game so its not a huge problem for me but it can get a little annoying.
Player in docked with 4K display
Launching via GE-Proton 8-30 boots the game and tutorial. When you press ESC you don't crash and you can just enjoy the game. If this isn't the case for you I would recommend checking out the Github site.
When using TWS Bluetooth headphones you can hear some crackling but only with TWS Headphones.
Just some occasional flickering
With 8GB of DDR3 Memory you can't expect a flawless experience
The overall experience is great, I had to turn down the graphics a little bit but it's great. I even played cross play with my buddies and I've not encountered any issues. The multiplayer experience is okay, sometimes the game of the host (in my case a Windows user) get kicked and your game will just freeze. I also Highly recommend that you play this with Ethernet and not over Wi-Fi. Its way more stable over Ethernet than Wi-Fi. I got kicked like 4 Times in 30 minutes when playing via Wi-Fi.
Runs very well.
Some text was a little bit too small. I just scaled it up in the settings.
On the game mode "Oddball" it just crashes. Well... it loads but after the introduction animations of your team it just freezes and then crashes
It sometimes froze, but after a little bit of playing, it stopped freezing very often.
It runs very well, it sometimes freezes at the beginning, but after a little bit of playing it just lags.
Signing in is a real challenge.
Had to sign in twice
I got into a lobby; then I got banned for a day.
Campaign works. Multiplayer doesn't. Played through Halo:Reach. The MCC launched perfectly, but when I installed H2A it never launched again.
If you're having trouble signing in to your Microsoft Account, I recommend that you enable your keyboard first, then switch with a tap on the screen to the "Sign in" window and start typing your email or password.
Chose, on start, the option without EAC because the dev's mixed up the options
Sometimes I got kicked out of the match, or it froze mid-game, but this happened like two times so far.
Works without any problems.
Since the EAC patch, multiplayer works fine for me. I'm having very infrequent issues and a lot of fun playing Multiplayer matches.
Totaly palyable!
There where a few graphical-glitches
It's playable, sometimes there is a bug or two but it plays just like I have it on the ps4.
Runs very well!
Just changed some backbuttons
I always play with 30fps.
On the second launch it crashed but that did never occur again.
It crackles very often when you awake your Steam-Deck from sleep.
The HUD textures were sometimes very crusty. When I'm on a Strider it lags quite heavy even when in 60fps mode.
It crahsed 3x times. Once at the secnond start and the other two times when fast traveling.
It runs great on the Deck. Sometimes when riding a strider or mounting one it can lag very heavily. The audio is crusty when awakening the Steam-Deck from the sleep mode.
The reolution setting was just wrong, go to the settings for an easy fix.
Very long in-game loading times, even when switching to an SSD.
Works fine, no problems at all
Game works fluid with no problems at all.
Can't get it to work
After switching to various Proton versions and GE-Proton versions it still won't work.
Subnautica runs with the default preset from steam, but for me it ran more fluid with the "forced to experimental" setting.
Krackling
I got about 24FPS in a match, with all settings set to low
I got one Crash, but that was because I had like 40 other Windows open
I got no problems, I just needed to switch to Experimental and it worked. But check, if you have enough ram, with my 8GB of DDR3 Ram you will have a bad time with 22 to 27 FPS.
