Make sure to change your resolution to 1280x800 in the game settings, the game selects 1920x1080 by default.

Game starts in fullscreen but taskbar keeps showing. Toggeling to borderless and back to fullscreen every boot fixes this.

Disable VSync and NVIDIA Reflex, that should increase your performance. VSync in particular being disabled fixed some inconsistent stuttering every 200-ish frames.
