

Doesn't start, older versions do not seem to work either

No version of proton works for this title, and neither do the documented tinker steps.
Tried various launch options to cap the refresh rate and to force DX11 to DXVK.
I have tried every single version of proton. None of them worked. Tinker steps did nothing. I received the same ""D3d.cpp : D3D11CreateDevice() failed E_FAIL:" error on every launch.
Works perfectly out of the box
Runs perfectly with stock Proton 8.0. No tinkering is needed with ordinary 60 Hz displays.
Just install the game, and play, works right out of the box.

The game started with a black screen, but this was easily fixable with the proper launch options, either play windowed, or start the game windowed and switch to full-screen (alt-enter) afterwards if you don't use the launch options.
This game has a known issue of running too fast on displays faster than 60 Hz. Either limit it to 60 fps or run it windowed.

Without the proper launch options, the game speed will be too high on a display above 60fps. You have to either play windowed, or start the game windowed and switch to fullscreen (alt-enter) afterwards if you don't use the launch options.
No issues, and is playable out of the box on Steam Deck.
The first few start ups sometimes showed a black screen with only audio playing. Alt-tabbing out and in again solved the problem.

Finished the game without issues. Unfortunately the game does not support high refresh rate, running 60fps locked. It doesn't stop from enjoying the game.

Crashes on start with error: D3d.cpp: D3D11CreateDevice() failed E_FAIL:. When using Wine D3d11 it shows the following error: Context.cpp: CreateDeferredContext() failed E_NOTIMPL


Works perfectly. At first there was sound crackling for me, but that can be fixed by using ALSA as sound device (e.g. via ProtonTricks)

Runs absolutely flawless. Steady framerate/times, no lag, no stutter. Cannot select resolutions above 1080p but I think this applies to Windows also?
