Works out of the box. Only thing is missing is the ingame mod installer (mods can still be manually installed).
Couple of popping grass texture (right of farm) and some slowness, i am not sure if this is also present in windows.
Though this isnt dealbreaking or cozy ruining in the slightest. I'm expecting it to get better.
Other than that game works.
Works out of the box, though the intro vid is corrupted (u can simply skip it)
Works out of the box using both offline and online. DLC also works. Some users report that online isnt working though for me it's fine.
Maybe they dont have proton easyanticheat runtime installed? :)
Works fine out of the box. Unsure if the performance is a little worse than windows but seems to be stable at 165fps (with vsync). Only dropping every once in a while when there's a lot happening.
Works just fine out of the box.
Worked out of the box without any issues.
Works out of the box. Game did crash once while changing graphics settings. Seconds try changing the same settings it worked just fine.
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/local/lib/liblibc_dlopen_mode.so %command%
Had to follow this guide to get the game to launch.
It's pretty simple and doesnt really require any linux know-how.
- Download the github repo.
- Extract the zip
- Open a terminal session in said folder.
- Enter "make" in terminal.
- Copy the .so (NOT .c) file to /usr/local/lib/ ("sudo cp liblibc_dlopen_mode.so /usr/local/lib/")
- Enter launch option "LD_PRELOAD=/usr/local/lib/liblibc_dlopen_mode.so %command%"
- Click play and the game loads (might show compatibility messages but just proceed.
Works out of the box for me as i always use the latest GE-Proton as default.
Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meo cough Game works perfectly out of the box.
No issues, just works. workshop content i've previously downloaded on windows also automatically installed without issues.
winetricks: sound=alsa force set real tone cable as audio input (not voice input!)
ini changes: ExclusiveMode=0 ; Win32UltraLowLatencyMode=0 ; latencybuffer=2
Audio crackling a bit, u can kinda fix this by lowering the input volume in your sound settings. I've yet to discover a value that eliminates it while also allowing you to play quieter when fitting. for now 55-70% is about right.
There's also a little bit of delay but it's minimal.
Doesnt work out of the box! A new guide has been made by "TheNizzo" on github. I followed this and it works MUCH better than all the others.

My setup is relatively simple. I have a Scarlett solo in which my guitar and wired headset are pluged into.
All works after following the guide and best of all NO delay and NO distorted sound.
Quick tip is to use proton 8(.05) since a step is easier than when using GE or 9.
Only issue i had was my steelseries arctis wireless pro headset mic getting priority causing feedback and no guitar input. Simply avoided by turning off the docking station.

Add rs-asio and configure it a bit.

Works but no multiplayer
Multiplayer doesnt work (silly ubisoft and their anti cheat)

Flickering (shadows?)
Game works just fine minus flickering of what i assume are the shadows. Tried severeal things, eg. dxvk, limiting fps, enable vsyc both normal and sparse.
Seems to be an issue related to mesa and rdna 3 cards.

Update to my last report. It now works fine without the shadows flickering after adding "ACO_DEBUG=force-waitdeps" to /etc/environment
