Runs perfectly as far as I can tell

Game was free couple weeks ago in Epic Games, tried and it just works with little tinkering
-dx12
When switching to another app (while the game is running) there is a chance that the game will stutter for 30 seconds, then back to normal
Sometimes the other party are unable to join my lobby but i can join their lobby. Could be just my firewall settings
No performance degradation, 1% and AVG is stable

Once the mouse triggering video performance degradation was solved, the game functions pretty well. Some issues core to the game.
LD_PRELOAD="" gamemoderun %command% -dx12 -high -USEALLAVAILABLECORES PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1
Using mouse input caused the graphical frame drops. Using a controller the FPS would smooth out.
After roughly 40 minutes without the LD_PRELOAD="" switch (Steam record and overlay disabled) Mouse input became HORRIBLY janky.
A few crashes, but the game also did so in Windows and is notoriously buggy. Crashing was actually the least of my problems.
The multiplayer through SHIFT sometimes introduces its own lag problems, but it's hard to say what percentage was the visual issues.
The game launches and plays smoothly with no tinkering for about 40 minutes, but anyone experiencing the mouse input bug would be pulling their hair out trying to solve it. I also turned mouse polling down to 500mhz as suggested in some Windows bug reports, although I'm not sure it was required. Some of the switches used on the launch caused minor performance gains (turning on async and e/fsync off made the inventory screen open faster for example) but the game itself has a lot of weird optimization and performance issues. Nobody using controller would probably notice the game isn't actually platinum, at least with my g600 mouse.

A VERY annoying bug I found was a keyboard mapping bug. I have an azerty keyboard. When I initially tried to change the keyboard mappings in the game, every tapped key was interpreted as a numlock press. Very strange. I had to manually edit the settings in user.reg and user.reg.new in ~/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Tiny Tinas Wonderlands/pfx Once the country specific locales were properly adapted (see adapted values below), I could finally change the key mappings in the game itself. Very annoying bug!
"Locale"="00000813"
"LocaleName"="nl-BE"
"sCountry"="Belgium"
[Keyboard Layout\Preload] 1747782173

Set following in Heroic Games Launcher 2.16.1:
Wine version: proton-cachyos-10.0-20250520-slr-x86_64_v3
Enabled Fsync

Important to note, the game uses video files to load the cutscenes, without GE-Proton and on Proton Experiemental these cutscenes would not load and the game would softlock after leaving the first area to the world map.

No problems here. Runs flawlessly.
Worked out of the box without a hitch
no problems at all. working ootb
The shaders take a while to load, but they take the same time on Windows, so what can you do.

I had to force the use of proton 8. With newer versions there was an error directly at startup
I could play crossplay with a friend on the Playstation.

Running great on medium settings with FPS limit to 45. Some dips in FPS in crowded area or during intense fighting.
TDP limit to 12
No issues

-dx11
runs perfectly under proton experimental and version 9.0.I tried both dx11 and dx12,with dx12,AMD's FSR works perfectly
Ran perfect, no issues at all

Works out of the box
No tinkering needed, just install and press play. I'd advise fine tuning the advanced graphical settings like volumetric fog and draw distance if you're a high refresh rate gamer too.
Some Network / Connection Problems, but this is probably unrelated to Proton / Linux

Graphics preset medium, refresh rate 50
Possibly small for some
Can only do 1280x800 (unless modified in steam)
No problems noticed.
idk what to put here so ahhhhhhhhh

Works great!
Played through the game completely with a friend.

Quiet compared to other games, despite being set to 100% in game by default.
Mouse appear tiny (har har) on first launch (as in really rally small), clicking away (into another application) and then back, resolved the issue.

mangohud gamemoderun %command%
It works without any tinkering! There is some occasional stutter but that happens on windows too.
PS: I am using mangohud to monitor and cap my fps to 144 and it runs flawlessly

HDR works on steam deck OLED. Be sure to calibrate the bightness/display in the config menu.
Works fine
gamemoderun %command% -dx12
Works perfectly out of the box

Game defaults to medium settings and plays great on 40 fps locked. For more fps or better battery life you might want to lower settings, but it's a great experience nonetheless.

Finished game without issues
Opening the menu a lot can degrade performance. Fixed by restarting game

This audio bug exists in Windows as well. Game voice lines do not play when samplerate is set to anything besides 44100/24bit or 48000/24bit
WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR_STRENGTH=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 voiceLD_PRELOAD= __GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1 gamemoderun %command% -nosplash -nostartupmovies
change sound=alsa in protontricks (may not be needed, mileage may vary), edit /etc/pipewire/pipewire.conf
:
## Properties for the DSP configuration.
default.clock.rate = 48000
default.clock.allowed-rates = [ 44100, 48000 ]
resample-method = soxr-vhq
resample.quality = 24
If you do not have this file, create it using /usr/share/pipewire/pipewire.conf
as a template.
All voice line dialogue is missing. Use fixes to pipewire.conf
and potentially change audio driver to ALSA in protontricks.
Note: These settings change your audio preferences system wide, and may create unseen issues elsewhere with other applications audio.
Research:
Unsure what samplerate is by default on my system - its unreported anywhere through any GUI and in various CLI applications. Bitrate settings in pipewire.conf are NOT there by default, and were removed at some point in pipewire's lifetime. These settings should be able to be swapped easily through a GUI for ease of use. Linux elitists cause issues like this, and gatekeep solutions simply because they do not believe it's worth the time to do so.

gamemoderun %command% -dx11
Proton got stuck during first launch (issue 6912). The game only started after killing a hanging DXSetup.exe process.
Only worked once without launch options. On subsequent starts the game hung on the loading screen. After switching to DX11 everything worked fine.
Textures are blurry for 10-20 seconds after entering a new area.
