Alt + Tab may only work in windowed mode, and requires opening the console first (press Tilde or Shift + Escape).
The game window always spawns on leftmost monitor, even though my primary monitor is the center one. If using KWin, this can be fixed by opening the console, pressing Alt + F3 then going to More Actions > Configure Special Application Settings…. Then override Window Position with Force mode and set an appropriate top-left corner position for the game window.
Setting client FPS to 120 or 125 in the game options can improve responsiveness if you have a decent connection.
Works out of the box (MSAA was disabled for me in the default settings).
For high refresh rate monitor users, remember to increase the FPS limit by editing config/graphics.config in the Crashday user data folder (not the installation folder). The default limit is 125, which isn't sufficient for 144 Hz and above.
Hardware gamma and Redshift don't play well together, resulting in the game being too dark. Disable/kill Redshift and wait a few seconds before starting the game.
Alt-tabbing/fullscreen, can be finnicky when using a borderless window. Sometimes, instead of getting a 2560×1440 fullscreen window, I'll get something like 2560×1410, resulting in a visible black bar at the bottom. You may also have to alt-tab several times to get it to work.
The MOUSE4 and MOUSE5 auxiliary mouse buttons aren't recognized in Revision's port of The Nameless Mod, but work with the official campaign.
Opening Steam overlay crashes the game. Consider disabling it in the properties to avoid unexpected crashes when pressing Shift + Tab.

Runs playably, but you need really high-end hardware to push the settings all the way up.
Proton is doing pretty well (possibly even better than Windows) on this game considering how demanding it is.
Make sure to force Proton Experimental in the per-game settings for now and you're good to go :)
This is a known issue which is also said to occur on Windows. Minimizing the window by pressing your window manager's minimize shortcut can work more reliably, but not always.
Using a third-party launcher like ql.syncore.org is absolutely required to get a good experience.
Required to avoid crashes during gameplay. Doesn't solve the frequent main menu crashes when clicking a server in the list.
Game didn't detect my 2560×1440 screen resolution. Workaround: open the console and use /r_mode -1; r_customWidth 2560; r_customHeight 1440; vid_restart

The local game server "stutters" heavily, resulting in jittery gameplay, even in singleplayer. Limiting FPS using sam_iFPSMaxActive or enabling V-Sync can help with this.
Mouse input is broken unless you force Steam to use Proton 4.2-9. Without downgrading, the player's view will spin to no end and the weapon will fire continously whenever the player moves the mouse.

Disabling V-Sync seems to help somewhat against random crashes during singleplayer or online play, but it can still crash even with V-Sync disabled. This also occurs when using system WINE to run Ubisoft Connect directly without going through Steam.
