I played the entire game from start to finish with no major issues.
Need to disable the origin in-game overlay or it severely affects the performance
Using the native runtime, either fullscreen or audio is broken on my system. Using proton, everything works fine out of the box.
Disabled click on the right touchpad, mapped R4 to A button, mapped R5 to right stick click
Tried all current major proton versions and various workarounds described here
Multiplayer is completely nonfunctional. Despite successfully signing into xbox live, I am neither able to host nor join a multiplayer game.
Unable to host or connect to a game, despite successful xbox live login.
Trying to invite/join through Origin was extremely bad, there were huge update/interaction issues with the Origin windows
Strongly recommend disabling the origin in-game overlay, it has a severe negative performance impact
Fullscreen mode was at a reduced resolution in the corner of the screen on the first launch, no problems on subsequent launches
Played the game from start to finish across a few sessions with no issues. The memories played out of the box, no messing with media dlls.
Mapped R4 to A button
Limited to 30fps
Some of the notes and drawings you find are difficult to make out

There's a noticeable latency between playing and hearing the amplified sound from Rocksmith, but I booted the same machine into Windows 10 and it's the same. :-| It's annoying, but it doesn't cause misses etc.
Had to use the touchscreen and keyboard to log into Origin the first time
I logged into Origin separately and disabled Origin in-game to improve performance and get rid of the annoying Origin popups
The game window was partially behind the cinnamon menu bar until I switched to exclusive fullscreen mode
It actually ran worse here than on the steam deck, particularly with vsync enabled, until I disabled Origin in-game (irregular framerate / hitching)
Origin cloud sync worked surprisingly seamlessly for switching between pc and deck
After selecting the first chapter, music played for a bit, but the screen remained black and I wasn't able to do anything
Fullscreen mode launches in a lower resolution in the corner of the screen for me.
It's possible to work around by switching to windowed mode and back, then alt-tabbing away and back
Connect loads and I can sign in successfully, but the game window never loads. Tried proton 7.0 and experimental.
Enabled vsync in the game's video settings
Requires Ubisoft Connect login, Ubisoft overlay has popups that require a keyboard (shift-f2) to dismiss, but the Ubisoft overlay can be disabled in the Connect settings
I was required to launch the game from steam in desktop mode - it wouldn't get past the Connect window in game mode
The radio function doesn't work for me. Additionally, some of the menus (e.g.: join game, after death) don't handle the gamepad well and need a mouse / screen tap.
The radio function is the keystone of the game - you need to work around it (i.e. out-of-band voice call) or play colocated (which is still fun, but drastically reduces the difficulty)
