Game insta-crashes at the very first cutscene
Tried various versions of Proton (4, 7, 9) as well as the custom launch option to force DX11 rendering. Nothing made any difference.
The best result I got was with Proton 4, where the game actually got past the cutscene but performance was so awful it was unplayable.
The chess video is not working at all on steam deck. I use a youtube video instead

Playing on external 1080p screen, any graphics settings resulted in FPS dropping to 40, most of the time in the 50-55 range
In-game mic worked no problem with external headphones, althoght I had to reduce game volume and increase voice volume in order to hear my friend

Voice chat didnt work at all
Works flawlessly other than the audio

If you like mistery, cooperation and adventures, you may like it. But above all, breathe and try not to get frustrated with some parts!
The game's voice chat works very poorly and the sound was very distorted.
The one I mentioned previously for the game's voice chat.
Flawless out of the box experience

Game is old but is good and you can finish in a couple hours
You can just play without thinkering. I recommend all the "we were here" games.
works fine

Played with a friend, used discord for audio
Played through the game twice with a friend. No issues

The game had frequent bugs leading to softlocks and having to replay sections
Microphones worked only for one of us
Fun to play, but needs lots of patience with the bugs

Played online co-op with a friend without issues.
Played with Proton-Experimental [bleeding-edge] in Ultra settings, 1080p fullscreen in 60 FPS stable.
Just install and play!
Crackling noise in cutscene, clean sound in-game.
Had to force Proton 7.0-6 over default experimental because loading the cutscene froze and crashed the game.
0 Issues.
Even the voice chat worked.
Perfect plug-and-play experience
I haven't had any voice chat issues
No in-game Voice Chat
Missing Voice Chat makes game unplayable
For those who can't use the mic just turn it on in SD settings. Played all the game through on Steam deck with friend played on PC
Runs perfectly
Could be fixed by the reduce input lag option in settings
Go into graphics settings, disable VSync, enable reduce input lag and your good to go.

The radio function doesn't work for me. Additionally, some of the menus (e.g.: join game, after death) don't handle the gamepad well and need a mouse / screen tap.
The radio function is the keystone of the game - you need to work around it (i.e. out-of-band voice call) or play colocated (which is still fun, but drastically reduces the difficulty)
Works great except for the voice chat not working. Using external voice chat is acceptable, but the in-game voice chat is an integral.
In-game voice chat doesn't work. I had to use an external application for voice chat.
Worked flawlessly, except for the aforementioned voice chat issue.
works flawlessly, didn't check if audio worked
not sure, but some textures were weird if seen from certain angles, maybe also in the original
Plug and play.
Intro cut scene did not display at all. Not missing much though.
Works perfectly
Works for me with Proton 4.11-13, did not try the internal "push to talk" as we were using another way to communicate
In-game voice chat didn't work. Both for transmitting and receiving.

The in-game voice chat is significant part of the gameplay.
In-game voice chat didn't work
Occasionaly start "hanging" computer (mouse cursor freezes, jumping to new position once in several seconds)
The intro video doesn't show
Tried it with Proton 4.11-13 and 5.0-10. It didn't start with Proton 5.13-2 at all.
The initial intro didn't load properly. (Isn't game breaking though)
Works great right out of the box. I didn't test the walkie-talkie thingy though
Works
First cutscene don't works.
I just finished the game without problem. In-game voice chat don't seem to be working.

After the opening cutscene, the rest of the game played perfectly.
Opening cutscene did not play.
Did not test the in-game voice chat.
Played through entire game with a friend on a Windows computer. Minor issues, but completely playable.
Push-to-talk did not appear to work, but we used an external chat for communication.
Opening cutscene did not play, but it is not necessary to enjoy the game.
We didn't try in game push to talk much but it worked. Continuous 30+ FPS at highest settings, could get up to 60 FPS on medium settings.
Works perfectly
Works perfectly out of the box. Played together with a friend (on Windows) online.

Game work's without any issues with Proton 5.0.7. Joining game servers worked as well as hosting own game sessions and invite friends.
A friend of mine was playing on windows and had problems joining any game servers at all. He got kicked out of the game servers after 5 sec...He then rebooted into his Linux Mint 19.3 and suprisingly it worked better with proton and he could join my game session without any problems...
It boots up fine and even works with my Vive, but it can't connect to the game servers, which makes the game unplayable. This game cannot be played offline.

Seems to run with DXVK on Proton, but couldn't connect to game servers.
