Flawless
Currently running Proton 8.0-5 without issues. I am using a Logitech G27 wheel with the https://github.com/berarma/new-lg4ff and https://github.com/berarma/oversteer driver and companion tool respectively. The game correctly identifies the wheel, but the buttons and pedals must be configured in the game settings to work properly.
FPS is low in the first couple of minutes, after that there is no performance issues.
Game crashed a couple of times, 2 times in 16 hours.
As other users reported, I had to use the following command to start game: PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% -dx9 -nointro
bash -c 'exec "${@/2KLauncher\/LauncherPatcher.exe/Binaries\/Win32\/BioShockInfinite.exe}"' -- %command% -nointro -DisableTexturePool
Work flawless with Pronton 7.0-4 and custom command line to workaround the useless 2k launcher
Game frequently freeze when texture is high
copy Borderlands2.exe to Launcher.exe
As reported by other players, you must switch to the bleeding_edge beta of Proton Experimental.

Using Alt-Tab drops the fps
There is a lot of people reporting issues on HZD. The game is very graphic intensive, but I have no issues running at 3840x216, High, FSR:Quality at 60fps. The only issue I found is Alt-Tab or changing the graphic settings mid-game drops the fps after returning to game. Just for reference I am running Proton 7.0-6 which is the version picked by Steam itself.
Constant crashes during story mode.
Videos doesn't play or crash the game.
After Alt-Tab mouse cursor become visible in the middle of the screen
Game crashes with very long sessions (> 3 or 4 hrs)
Use the following command line: PROTON_USE_WINED3D11 = 1% command%
Native version has huge performance issues. Windows version does not start.
