Being an Unreal Engine game, there's some animation desync which causes weird "twitching" of animated objects. However this is a problem with my CPU and Unreal engine games, not Linux, as I had this problem on Windows. Solution is to only allow the game to run on specific cores.
I have the game set to windowed mode. When launching, it defaults to fullscreen, with some logos being displayed off-center, before entering windowed mode. Other than that, it runs great out of the box.

Runs out of box. Absolutely great. Smooth performance.
With fresh Endless Update mouse starts to being very laggy (like it's polling rate is 10Hz or something like this) on level Harmony Square (probably also on District XIII and final level) and it continius until exiting from game.

Runs great out-of-the-box.

Played with Proton-Experimental [bleeding-edge] in High settings, 1080p windowed fullscreen with 60 FPS stable.
Great looter shooter rogue-lite game, runs without any problems.
Just install and play!

Worked perfectly. Played for several hours without any issues.

Works without tinkering for me
I've just installed it and hit play. Runs without any issues for me.
Worked without a hitch
Cutscenes dont work unless you use proton GE version, stock experimental wont cut it. wll freeze if cutscene wont play
you HAVE to use proton GE to get this game working, didnt work out the box

-windowed
began game with -windowed argument so that it would launch, it switched to borderless automatically anyway. Fullscreen would immediately crash to desktop regardless of proton versioning.

It's playable but I don't think it's enjoyable. Text/UI scaling is desperately needed so we don't have to constantly rely on the magnifier.
In-game 30 FPS cap. Medium graphics preset. Even with those settings though you'll still get only 2.5-3 hours at most on a full charge.
Much of the in-game text and UI is unreadable without magnification, including important elements like weapon stats.
Runs perfectly, no noticable performance issues compared to Windows

slight stuttering from time-to-time
People who had problems with cutscenes PROBABLY played demo version or used old version of proton. Proton-GE9-2 works just fine.
The game runs smoother than on Windows with the same hardware. much better frame timing consistency. 10/10

5/5 game
Works perfectly, no issues in multiplayer

1st launch was a bit slow but it's quick after that. I used with Proton Experimental.
If you want to try the demo version, it works with Proton 6.3-8.

some text is a little too small to read, though sharp enough to read if your eyesight is reasonable
Honestly, a great looking and smooth experience. If the devs would just sort out scaling the text up where needed this would be verified for sure. Im running at 60fps which it mostly holds (95%) though it is quite power hungry. Though you could cap the FPS lower it would somewhat take away from what this kind of shooter does best. I hope for further optimisations, great game!

Works Perfect Out of Box (NOT DEMO)
Worked great! When I first tried the demo I ran into the problems listed by some of the other users but I ended buying the full game and none of the video issues (such as cutscenes) have appeared. Still low amount of playtime so far but no noticeable bugs insofar

Need to remove the cutscene/movie files, otherwise the game will stop working when one starts. You can find them in [SteamLibrary]/RoboQuest/Content/Movies/. A simple rename will do fine.
Cutscenes will make the game stop working
This is based on the demo of the game.

Have to alt tab out then in for inputs to be registered
Had to switch to Proton 6.3-8, or the game would freeze my computer during the intro cinematic

cpu became unusually hot, around 80-85 for 2 or 3 minutes of playing, although graphic was set to max by default, it's possible that this game is cpu-bound?

Turns out, in order to make this thing start it's enough to switch to older proton version and remove all the cutscene files.

With the broken textures, almost complete absence of color in certain locations, frequent crashes, blackout cutscenes its barely playable.
All cutscenes completely black.
Sometimes freezes. Solved only through rebooting PC

Only played for a couple hours but runs without issue so far

Occasional slight jittering
Great game, runs great out of the box.

Works perfectly with proton 8 or experimental.

On my system performance were degraded enough to be borderline playable at best, since it is very fast paced FPS around 30 is low

Videos are replaced with a static test palette for television
I had to use an older version of Proton to make it work. Current stable, experimental and GE all returned black videos and skipping made the game crash.

Works well enough with default Proton compatability. Audio and cinematic bugs with Proton-ge
Missing sound effects when booted with proton-ge. Forcing it to either Experimental or 8.0-4 worked.
When switching between compatibility modes, progress was lost and starts back at the tutorial. Unsure if it's an issue with my Steam account not exporting saves properly.
There was some frame drops when entering rest areas, starting a level, and achievements popping up. Clears up in a few seconds.
Skips cutscenes with proton-ge-custom. Works with Proton Experimental and Proton 8.0-4.
I would make sure you are happy with whatever version of Proton you use before making any significant progress, else your save data may not carry over properly.

The game runs perfectly with very minimal performance degradation compared to native Windows 10.

Use ProtonGE to avoid crashing on the cutscene after the first boss.

Game ran perfectly fine and I would imagine it would work equally perfectly without any 'tinkering'
Just change to proton 6.3-8
