Works flawlessly out of the box.
Finished the game with no issues.
If you mess up Steam settings preventing it from using the preferred version of Proton (i.e. the one provided by the per-game install script), then you'll have to force an older version of Proton in game properties. If you didn't mess with Steam settings, the game will run without any tinkering.
Must use proton 8.0.x, verison 9 does not work at all.
Game loads but graphical glitches where some assets are semi cut off/moving or show part of the backgrounds
None of the menu is visible (this is after the initial title screen where even the title text illustration before pressing any key to continue is unable to be read because it isn't being displayed properly

Alt-tabbing makes the cursor disappear. Closing and reopening the game returns to normal.
Once, after returning from Steam Overlay, moving the mouse caused the game to have constant FPS drops. Reopening the game fixed it.
It's an interesting point & click puzzle game.
Just install and play!
Cursor disappears when game loses focus(minimizing or alt-tabbing), need to restart the game in order to fix the issue temporarily.
controller customisation
added shortcuts/controls for:
- right joystick for height (left joystick mapped as right joystick)
- directional arrows + space for one of the puzzles (d-pad + A)
- ctrl for quick access to inventory (back button) otherwise trackpad as mouse + click got me through most of it
lowered TDP a bit
Overall this game is really nice to play in general, it was my childhood game (it was still on flash player lol)

When alt-tabbing mouse disappears from the game, making it unplayable and forcing me to restart the game.
On my dad's laptop i had to enable proton to use wine d3d or otherwise the game would freeze at the first frame
My save got synchronized from windows to linux, which is kind of weird because when i looked at my game's properties it had 0kb used in steam cloud, but im happy that it worked because i got far in the game.
Beside cursos disappearing after alt-tabing no other issues while finishing the game.
Mouse cursos disapears after minimizing or alt-tabing after starting the game. Only way to regain was to restart the game.

After switching to Proton 5.0-10, the save problems I noted in my previous report seem to have gone away.

Mouse pointer not visible after switching to windowed and back to full screen.
Frequently my most recent save would not be there when I restarted the game and "Resume" would not resume from my most recent stopping place. Even Windows users reported problems with saved games, but I'm not sure if this is the same problem.
Played the whole game through with Proton. Some minor issues, still perfectly enjoyable.
Mouse becomes invisible after switching windows (Alt-Tab). Have to restart the game to fix it. Mouse-pointer incorrect after switching windows from other applications to the game. Game slows down after switching window.
Slows down from time to time. Sometimes lagging. Especially in windowed mode after switching windows from another application running.
If it runs slowly, just restart steam and normal speed will resume
Sometimes it runs very slowly but if you restart steam it seems to run on normal speed.
