When running the game on hybrid graphics with AMD GPU and Ryzen iGPU, the game would crawl to a near halt (roughly 1 FPS each 3-4 seconds) when it got past the spash screen and logos. After disabling the iGPU in the BIOS the problem was gone and the game ran fine.

Disabled vertical synchronization in the launch configuration tool, then it worked. Worked also with Proton Experimental.
