It's worth noting that, on my previous computer, the game had unexpected performance degradation, whereas the demo did not. It's only on my current PC that everything is as smooth as butter. All I can conclude from that is that the demo for this game is not exactly representative of the full game, performance-wise.

This game is absolutely fantastic, a real blast from the past. The atmosphere, the level design, the music, all of them are outstanding and I'm looking forward to what the next chapters are going to bring. If you enjoyed Monolith's classic Blood back in the '90s, then you're in for a treat! - And it works out of the box, too!

Works fine without any launch options and Proton GE. With Proton Experiemental, it would hang and trying to start the game with the spinning Steam logo on my Steam Deck.

Game can get pretty choppy with the default settings, especially playing Interlude.
Was able to complete the whole game without a single issue. The survival mode works fine as well.

The launch version had a bug with Steam Cloud saves. That's now resolved. Game is good now.
Did not try with Proton7.0-4 or Experimental.
Worked great with GE.
Tudo nos conformes
Joguei numa resolução baixa, qualidade baixa e 50 FPS.
There was no need for tinkering because it worked out of the box.
At certain levels, the sound would crackle occasionally.
Occasional framerate stuttering during fights.
you will prolly not have a lot of trouble playing it with normal proton altho for me I couldnt tab out or it would black out the screen, though this was fixed with the newest geproton version and I played on that the rest of the time, where there was no problems
Switched Proton versions
Tested with default, experimental & GE Proton versions
Works great, without any major issues.
Was frequently sluggish while looking and turning. Maybe it missed intro screen textures. These problems do not occur on Windows.
Items, sometimes enemies don't spawn. Seems to be more prelevant for people who switch between Windows PC and Steam Deck back and forth. THIS IS GAME BREAKING!
Steam chat hard crashes game
Highly variable FPS 35-100+
Game would crash Steam entirely every once in a while
Ran basically perfect out of the box. An Average of 50-60 fps, depending on action on screen.

(Demo) Runs perfect out of the box.
Only thing I would recommend is to turn off V-Sync, game was getting screen tearing when this was on and slower performance, turning it off fixes both of these things.

Its a little bit sluggish at times. I think it's mostly the real-time shadows, turning them to low helped to get closer to a consistent 60 fps. Other than that it ran 45-60 fps depending on action, a little inconsistent but still very playable and enjoyable.
Great demo, looking forward to the full game. Plays great on Deck once you get the controls setup. I shared my control scheme as "Blitzy's CULTIC Demo MK+Gyro".

The demo ran out of the box just fine with one issue. Alt+Tabbing the game causes the screen to go black until restarting it
Alt Tabbing causes screen to go black until restarting the game.
