40 fps/40 hz
Just selected Steam Deck graphic preset and then adjusted the FSR sharpness to 5, good to go from start to finish!

Lost about an hour of progress after I booted up the game and a whole play session worth of saves was missing. It seems likely that this was steam cloud saves messing up and not the games fault, but I thought it was worth mentioning
Had some sudden framerate drops here and there.
With the steam recomended version of proton the benchmark would dip as low as 40fps for more than a few seconds. Switching to GE got me to the 50s.

I got this game for free on Epic and finished on Linux. It's a decent game, but do not expect a Dead Space game or you will be let down.
Used version from epic games launched via heroic game laucher
Download the latest VC++ Visual Studio runtime from the MS site. Then, in the Heroic game launcher for the game, go into settings, scroll down, and click on the "RUN EXE ON PREFIX" button. Navigate to where you downloaded the VC++ Installer.exe and run it. The game runs perfectly after that.

Played the EGS version.

%command% -dx11
With medium settings, FSR on Performance, the game can reach an average of 50fps with the 380. Only few areas with more than three enemies may slow down but is overall better optimized than other Unreal engine titles and you can lower the mesh intensity, very clever option that doesn't decrease details or resolution, but you gain substantial frames.

My PC isn't the most powerful, but the game ran on average at 60 fps on medium settings. Overall, the game was very playable.

For whatever reason, I have to install VC++ Runtime when installng from Epic Gamestore. Not sure about Steam.

Game runs great using GE-Proton9-11. 2 things though: 1) I needed to run following "exe on prefix" in Heroic Games Launcher: vcredist2015_2017_2019_2022_x64.exe Without this, the game would not start. 2) the game does encounter shader compilation stutter on the game menu which takes 2 minutes to complete. So the game takes up to 2 minutes to finish shader compilation before the framerate goes to 100 fps. But after that smooth as butter. So not a blocking issue for me.
Completed game without issues
Works like a charm out of the box

The game runs perfectly fine out of the box without any tinkering.
Works perfectly fine

Works completely fine without any tinkering at all on my machine. Only tweak was adding MangoHud as a launch option, but not necessary.
Game running very smoothly despite my low end hardware, no Proton or anything like that.

I was surprised, but the game runs better on linux than on windows

Some loud monster sounds sounded distorted
Decent experience but wish the stuttering was fixed. As seen with a lot of ue5 games the stuttering may be a feature 🤷♂️

Flawless
I didn't care for the game, but it worked perfectly out of the box.

Game installed in HDD. And NVIDIA 2060 mobile is not good enough play with all high graphic settings with good fps

Worked out of the box in DX11 and DX12 mode without raytracing
High shadow quality causes about 20% performance hit, I suggest set to medium or low
Enabling raytracing crashes the game
On my setup achieved the most stable performance in DX12 mode. With everything maxed except the shadows set to medium, got a locked 60fps at 1440p native resolution. Enabling raytracing the game crashes.

CryoUtilities 2.0
Ammo amounts can be difficult to read in the weapon selection UI
A single crash
I used CryoUtilities 2.0, which combined with the Steam Deck preset in the game (which uses FSR 2.0 in performance mode) led to the game running pretty well. It was easily playable, even if the graphics are a bit rough around the edges in parts.

VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11
Hitting around 60fps average with ray tracing enabled @1440p is possible, but frame times suffer. Would not recommend on 6000 series.

The game suffers a bit from bad texture streaming and minor shader compilation during gameplay, which is to be expected from an unreal engine title.
DX12 didn't work at all, but no problems with DX11
Only DX11 worked, DX12 crashed the game all the time
Skip DX12 and enjoy the experience!
Crashes about every 20 minutes

Works perfectly out of the box ! But yeah, optimisation is not very good :-/
Forgot Ray Tracing (Non recognized DLSS by the way)
You can play it and enjoy it correctly without any thinkering - Very good !

My save got deleted after the recent update. I had to restart the game
Game crashes at the end of the long initial cutscene. Both in dx11 and dx12
Save got deleted after recent update. Always crashes after the long intial cutscene

On AMD 7000 series cards mesa-git drivers are necessary but after usingn those I got 100+FPS throughout with everyting on Ultra + RT on 3440x1440 - Ingame benchmark gave an average of 120fps

dx11 mode seems to have lower quality textures. dx12 made everything much more crisp
Running on borderless fullscreen, ultra settings, FSR2, and will all ray trace setting on high (only under dx12). Enabling v-sync seems to reduce game studdering
Performance issues should be fixed somewhat after recent updates. Better to buy it on sale

DX12 was very bad. Good performance in DX11

Building shaders while loading new parts of the level/map in DX11
DX12 mode runs 40fps average no matter what setting, I switched to DX11 mode for my playthrough
Game runs 40fps average in DX12 no matter what settings. DX11 mode runs great aside from building shaders/loading new parts of the map, that's where the fps tanks for a second or two.
Game plays well with Proton 7.0-5, although it will occasionally freeze and then crash to the desktop.
I've had no problems installing, launching and playing the game.
Runs ootb on proton 7.0-5 with no issues.
Running the game on max settings (no raytracing) using a 7900 XTX with no issues. Game by default uses DX12 and felt no need to change this. Surprising considering it incorporates Denuvo Anti-Cheat I think.
Works perfect out of the box.
Had absolutely no issues running this game out of the box. The only issues were the same ones as on Windows, where the initial version had some perf issues, and even then I barely had any (running the game on Medium however, with RT off). Played from start to finish with a dualsense controller. To note I do get the new shader caching UI on every single boot, I don't know if that is the case on Windows however.
