Game fails to start, logo appears and transparent window pops-up, then crashes to steam.
Game runs okay, unlike it's older brother which didn't run at all for me. Some stuttering and frame dips, although this remaster is known for having a multitude of bugs and issues that already stemmed from PC. Make sure to enable VSync and disable Esync.
Runs very smooth with a capped framerate. Laggy main menu and some small lighting bugs.

Use these launch options.
No bugs that aren't present on Windows
V-Sync is slightly broken (consistent tearing near the bottom half of the screen)
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=59 %command%
Minor lighting bugs
Performance is great. Minor lighting artifacts (especially on H2A). Controller input drops out frequently and is unresponsive.
Needed to use this fix in order to play campaign coop with Windows players: https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/11dftq1/fix_halo_mcc_coop_between_windows_and_linuxsteam/
Very frequent de-sync during a coop matches if the fix isn't applied.
Rarely crashes halfway through compiling shaders on startup.
Don't run using native, Force Proton Experimental and use the OpenGL renderer to avoid stuttering and poor performance.
Switch renderer to OpenGL.
Runs fantastic, 1:1 with the windows version. The only issue I had was when changing volume, right mouse movements on the horizontal axis stop mid-way after changing it, though this could possibly be a two-monitor issue. Pressing escape fixed it immediately.
