The game is so simple there can’t go much wrong.
Window does not resize after being started unless you switch to “fullscreen” and back.
Had to close launcher the first time, but worked from the second time on. Input fields have invisible text.
played first four levels; custom cursor option is glitchy; window has drawing issues, you have to often minimize and maximize it until it really shows something, after that it works flawless
- Fullscreen minimizes itself after it lost focus once.
- Hardware acceleration can lead to a black window if dimensions are too big
- You can manually reset those:
sed "s/DX::Fullscreen=true/DX::Fullscreen=false/g" -i Profiles/config.cfg;sed "s/DX::SafeMode=false/DX::SafeMode=true/g" -i Profiles/config.cfg
xbox 360 gamepad does not work; keyboard response is delayed when a key gets pressed down for some time; graphical glitch when walking down; just tested starting town, not regions with different graphics
Froze after first map, but saved the score; Played 100 waves on first map and first map against the clock; Rest felt native
"Sorry, something went wrong, for solutions please lisit: https://support.codefusion.technology/ge2rb/?e=88500010&l=english" does fail on start

I only got to the menu after a couple of tries. But it still hangs on the loading sceen when you wanna start a game slot.
It might be neccessary to keep the game in focus. You need proton 5.0.3
Xbox 360 gamepad gets detected as gamepad and keyboard, which results in a two player game, therefor unplayable with gamepad; Keyboard control works fine; fullscreen and windowed mode both work; windowed mode has a fixed window size and when tiling window manager forces a different window size, the rest of the window is filled with black; 60fps
Tried with keyboard and xbox 360 gamepad; fullscreen and windowed mode both work; windowed mode has a fixed window size and when tiling window manager forces a different window size, the rest of the window is filled with black; 60fps
“Warning! Video memory is low! (0 M) It is possible that video memory is not configured properly. Please restart computer and set AGP Aperture size = 256 MB or more in BIOS configuration program.”

20 minutes with xbox 360 gamepad; played megaman 1, 2 and the last one
20 minutes with xbox 360 gamepad; played megaman 1, 2 and the last one
black screen when initial window is to small (tiling wm), resizing the window and refocusing fixes that. If the game lost focus (switching tags), mouse clicks will stop working.
Neither keyboard nor xbox 360 gamepad work, loading screen and sound were working
Keyboard and xbox 360 gamepad work; sound was disabled by default but works; great improvement since my last test

unplayable with mouse; works with xbox 360 gamepad; movements have look blurry; lags here and there on ultra, but also wasn’t lag free on low.
Change xbox 360 gamepad in ingame settings “shooting axis: horiz. JOYU and vert. JOYV”; otherwise one shooting axis is bound to right trigger
wind sound is so loud, you can’t hear anything else; mouse lags if not run in full screen mode; >200fps with max settings; keyboard/mouse and xbox 360 gamepad work for playing
sound is unplayably loud and must be turned off, voice only works to some extend but has extremely loud noise here and there (worse than before); Thanks to subtitles it can be played without sound; mouse lags if not run in full screen mode; >200fps with max settings; keyboard/mouse and xbox 360 gamepad work for playing
FAudio received some fixes for this game; Music has some slight sizzling, but besides that sound is working now; The mouse issues in windowed mode are still there; I managed to get the sizzling to a point where I did not notice it any longer: Master Volume 75% SFX Volume 70% Music Volume 50% Voice-over Volume 100%
98 mins; DXVK can’t display monsters and chests, works with d3d11; crashed twice, don’t know what happens if this occurs during an online match
14h with warying configurations; DXVK has invisible loot boxes and monsters; with just D3D11 enabled the game hung (lost connection) or crashed a couple of times after some time playing; You can reconnect to an online match; With esync disabled and forced DirectX 9 it played stable so far, but the audio rarely started to distort after some time, which did not occur with D3D11
arcade mode crashes with because of missing authentication module or hangs itself
Forced usage of windows version; Texts are missing, you have to play the linux version first to know what they mean; You can’t see how many cards your opponents have
Forced usage of windows version; fonts works fine with PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%
; played singleplayer matches for 5h
Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool to not use the native Linux version
visual novel part works, but the fighting part just has a black screen; logs are spammed with 99946.549:0008:0009:trace:module:LdrGetDllHandle L"DPSACT2.ADE" -> (nil) (load path L"Z:\mnt\olhdd\steam\steamapps\common\War of the Human Tanks;C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam;C:\windows\system32;C:\windows\system;C:\windows;.;C :\windows\system32;C:\windows;C:\windows\system32\wbem")
