Runs perfectly fine in fullscreen with 3d acceleration on.

Game display looks a bit "brighter" and not very natural
Still uncertain about why the game UI looks brighter.
Mostly works on Fedora Linux 40 (KDE) with Proton 9.0-2, but you shouldn't quit the game after escaping the fullscreen.
After escaping the fullscreen mode and restarting the game, it shows a black screen window with no graphics appearing. The game becomes unplayable after that.

The game works just fine in windowed mode using the default proton but fullscreen does not work. However it does work if you use GE-Proton8-25.

Zero tinkering and I even used the control config Steam chose for me.

3D Acceleration is enabled by default. Able to play on high frame rates too.

Overall the game works well out of the box.
There is window after clearing level. Mouse is really laggy there, but works.
Game itself runs fine in windowed mode, but window is really tiny.
Some issues when going to full screen causes game to crash.

launched on my second monitor but the cursor was locked to my main monitor, had to disable the second monitor, launch the game, enable custom cursors and then re-enable the second monitor which fixed the issue.
Enabling custom cursors would cause the cursor to lag quite a lot on menus but it worked fine during gameplay.

No issues. Played with all default settings (including leaving 3D acceleration on). Unlike, say, Plants vs. Zombies, I didn't need to set any launch options. Game works out of the box. Alt+Tab also worked fine for me.
In fullscreen mode, crashes if you disable "3D Hardware Acceleration" or switch to another application. Also, when enabled “Custom Cursors”, it slows down in the "options window" or "pause window" when calling in a game. If you do not touch these two unnecessary settings or play in window mode, then everything works fine.

Unknown(< 15 minutes with Proton)Using Alt+Tab or the Super causes the game to freeze. Otherwise the game is perfectly playable using all modes with 100% performance in full screen and window mode on a 2012 Intel Core i5 3330 CPU. Given the above, there are no graphical or audio issues.
