OK Singleplayer, maybe not a great MP experience?
Small drop compared to windows, 40-50 fps. Little tearing. Otherwise OK.
gamemoderun %command%
Framerate was more than halved running with latest Proton. Switching to an older version remedied this.
I never asked for this. But hey it works.
Crashed when I tried to exit the game. Otherwise fine.
Everything ran out of the box. No issues.

Bring managed democracy to some bugs! This time without Windows!
Same experience as Windows
Not any different than in Windows
Game was buggy, probably cos it's a port. Best played with a controller.
Great OOTB experience.
Mind the volume control; game is REALLY LOUD. Same as windows though.
Solid experience straight from the box. No issues.
Crashed upon exiting. Had to kill the process.
MP definitely works, even across the globe. Finish Him!
In one MP match, controller went undetected for a little bit. Started responding not long after.
Videos broken in Experimental. Switched to GE and things worked, couple videos had choppiness.
15-25fps with Experimental vs 25-35 with GE. A solid experience though.
Selecting "Linux Runtime" from the compatibility menu worked. Else was crashing instantly.
Selected "Native Linux Runtime" in xorg
Come on in! Water's fine.
Scanning doesn't surround the object with the shimmer sometimes. Not bad otherwise.
Attempted without DXVK, different versions of Proton, to no avail.
Game created a .DMP file but I cannot open it.
Borked on an all AMD system. Same crash at initialization.
Maybe older systems could run this game?
Be sure to adjust your settings from ultra if needed. Buttery smooth otherwise.
Ran slow until everything loaded, now it runs fine.
GE 6.21-2
DX12 will cause glitching that flashes. Photosensitivity warning. Gave me a headache and I don't have epilepsy.
Game only appears on main monitor. Game will automatically move back to the secondary monitor and get glitchy.
Come for the nostalgia, stay for the bizarre NPC interactions.
Can't send fullscreen over to second monitor. This doesn't seem limited to Linux, however.
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90 gamemoderun %command%
Had some weird echo indoors, like we were in the Upside Down or something. Adding the delay via WINEDLLOVERRIDES did the trick. Also have gamemode and GE's latest release.
GE 6.21-2
Voices were gone under Proton, loaded GE and they came back.
GE 7.0-rc3-GE-1
Had unexpected slowness running on second monitor in Wayland. Running in xorg fixed this.
Surprisingly stable and playable!
Looks to be slowness while textures loaded up. Worked fine after.
Mostly fine. An enjoyable experience
EA Launcher gets a little wonky, but them's the breaks with launchers.
OPENSSL_ia32cap=~0x20000000 gamemoderun %command%
Add the OpenSSL option to enable multiplayer. Then it works fine.
Used Native Linux Runtime in Compatibility tab
Was missing prior to changing compatibility.
