Works very well. Minor bugs: Server is always shown as America in the main menu. In one session TAB did not work to bring up map.
Sometimes minimal audio crackling.
Sometimes minimal FPS drops.
Works like a charm. Sometimes moderate frame drops ingame, but I'm not sure if it's a proton problem, a server problem or just a general one
Minor audio crackling in main menu when news overlay still shown
When loading a map for the first time, it's unplayable due to (I think) shader build up. After playing a map once, it becomes a non-issue.
Renamed a copy of ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/BorderlandsPreSequel/Binaries/Win32/BorderlandsPreSequel.exe into Launcher.exe
After completing a Quest, the Screen flickers a bit. Quitting the game and starting again solves this.
Alt+Tab often makes the game unresponsive / freezes the game
Main Menu Videos (probably others, too) were working with Proton 7.0-6. Default Proton leads to static test images.
Works very well
On two instances my controller (Steam Controller, wireless) seemed to have stopped working before/after a small ingame cut scene. After that I played wired and had no problems. Could also be a problem with the controller or just coincidence, though.
Set the following starting options in Steam: SDL_AUDIODRIVER=winmm %command%
The game does not return to true fullscreen when using Alt+Tab
Minor freezes sometimes when issuing a command
Seems to work perfectly. I played several hours in Act 8 and not a single problem occured.
Works almost perfectly (using Vulkan renderer).
Sometimes crackling in Act 10, The Ravaged Square. Other than there, no problems.
Using Alt+Tab to tab out and tab back in causes the game to set it to windowed (not sure if always). Alt+Tab and clicking on the POE icon in the launcher works fine, though.
Everything in the game itself works. Alt+Tab doesn't work. Switching/moving to another workspace usually works, but sometimes crashes the game. The game itself runs stable at kinda acceptable FPS (~140 in Windows, ~60-70 via Proton). Sometimes FPS dip down to 20-30. Not quite sure in which situations, probably when there a a lot of effects while being in an infight. Disabling Esync seems to made it a little bit better, but not sure about that. Although very stable, only silver rating as Quake Champions as a competitive FPS requires more than 60-70 FPS with stutters to play. If your PC is very powerful, it might be gold or even platinum for you.
Works very well. Some minor sound issues with comments from the player character.
Annoncer sometimes cut of at the beginning/end of a match. Comments from the player character sometimes cutting off/crackling. Seems to happen in Windows, too (although less frequently). Does not impact the gameplay. Everything else is fine.
Playing a map for the first time results in huge stutters. Make sure to play some bot matches when you first play the game.
Updating my previous rating (silver) to platinum. Now the in game browser works and you can join a game by clicking on a friend. Played several 1on1 against my brothers via LAN and online without any problems.
Disclaimer: I did not test other modes than 1on1 in this new update.
Works very well out of the box
After about 1 hour of uninterrupted gameplay the game sometimes exits without any warning or message. Restarting the game after about 1 hour of gameplay prevents this.
Seems to work perfectly.
Works perfectly
added the following start options to Steam: SDL_AUDIODRIVER=winmm PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=40 %command%
When using Alt+Tab the game does not go back to fullscreen
Works perfectly
Sometimes the game won't start or will be shown still running after exiting. Seems to be a problem with the EA launcher. Simply starting again / stopping the game via Steam solves these problems.
Works great. (I did only play single player, though)
Sometimes very minor crackling.
Works like a charm
Very minor audio crackling. Most prominent when watching credits. All in all a non-issue.
no such problems with borderless fullscreen
