Игра шла из коробки идеально и была пройдена. Единственное, что поправил, так это разрешение экрана через конфиг-файл.
Only changed to version 5.13-6
Seems to work well for a 20+ year old game. Fairly good experience OOTB
Works as native
No controller support
Most problems I have do ultimately stem from the game's old age. Lack of controller support really sucks, and I'm not sure why it can't be patched in considering the game was on consoles and is still supported (it got cloud saves only like 3 years ago for crying out loud). Game also lacks support for widescreen resolutions, though this can be patched in, luckily, and shouldn't affect your gameplay experience too much even if not patched in. Good if you know what you're in for, but don't expect any modern luxuries we take for granted nowadays.
the mouse camera movement can be slugesh.
Occansonlly loading the save from the main menu will result in a crash or endless loading.
Not sure if it is the game but camera movement felt laggy.
Sometimes the game would crash when I try to load a save from the main menu.
Played GOG version with Proton 5.13-6.
Proton 6+ overbrights textures so they look as 16-bit.
Works well out of the box!
Some artifacts, especially in dark areas - 47s suit is also looking wonky, but nothing gamebreaking
Fun game. Dated graphics, but hey it works on Linux
Runs flawless
Runs perfectly out of the box.
Some weapons, most notably the Silverballers, will appear to have the wrong color when viewed at certain angles.
Works fine out of the box.
The game runs the same as native and it has the same issues like native: No widescreen support, fps limiter required because of bugs.
Mouse cursor disappears when alt-tabbing or changing workspaces.
Runs perfectly.
Works great out of the box. But due to the old age of this game, a widescreen patch and frame limiter is highly recommended (Same as on Windows, see PCGamingWiki article). For frame limiting I installed strangle and added the command "strangle 60 %command%" to Hitman 2's launch options. For widescreen patch I had to manually override some dlls. After that I was able to complete the game on PRO/SA and collect all weapons without a single issue or crash.
It needs tweaking to set it to full hd. I posted a steamcommunity video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rF6-x7wPpOU
The game has the same issue as hitman blood money where the bottom portion of the game is outside of the screen, it must be run in windowed mode. Other than that it has no issues.
Game works out of the box on Proton with WineD3D (DX8). I copied manually dgVoodoo2, run protontricks GAMEID winecfg, set d3d8 to native and then the game worked on Vulkan with DXVK even when testing it with the new ACO compiler.
Working perfectly out of the box.
Finished the game. Flawless
All runs smoothly.
Flawless. Zero tweaks. Works out of the box. Graphics, audio, controls, videos all work perfectly. Excellent performance.
Runs perfectly out of the box. If you want widescreen resolutions, you'll need to edit them in the .ini file.
Everything just works
Did the first mission. Runs flawlessly out of the box.
Played for about 20 minutes, everything looks good.
Runs smooth
