Game used to have big issues with windowing on dual screen setups, with Proton 7.0 those issues seem to be resolved. Also did not need to use the SKIPINTRO launch command.
Gives a JavaScript exception on launch, but works fine after that. Game does not close when you press the exit button.
Haven't used much, but seems to work fine. Just don't try to print any of the documentation.
Pressing the print button under the "Contents" section will crash the program
Must install fluidsynth for music to work
Music is missing unless you run fluidsynth with a selected soundfont or convert the midi files to a compatible format
Windows minimize when closing other windows
fluidsynth -is -a pulseaudio /usr/share/soundfonts/FluidR3_GM.sf2 & %command% ; killall -9 fluidsynth
Requires fluidsynth and a soundfont (packages are fluidsynth
and fluid-soundfont-gm
on Fedora, will vary by distro) to be installed for MIDI audio to work, after installing them you can use the launch option listed above to automatically start when the software in running and kill it when it's closed.
You may need to change the soundfont location on the launch option depending on where you distro installs it.
Main window still minimizing while closing other windows, but I've found this doesn't really matter if the game is in its own workspace (at lease on Gnome)
After fixing the game running issue it runs great. The tutorials don't work but they aren't very good. You're probably better off with YT
Have to edit files to run in game test
As others said the tutorials don't work, I have not found a solution to this.
You also cannot run your game because of an outdated library the program uses. To fix this you must download the latest version of nwjs from the website and put the files from the tarball in the nwjs-lnx and nwjs-lnx-test folders. You will then be able to run the games you've made.
Origin overlay does not work, have to tab out of game to accept invites
