Works perfectly OTB
FPS drops when grenades explode
The game works perfectly out of the box on DX11. I didn't have to install anything manually. The performance is perfect, apart from FPS drops during grenade explosions, probably due to smoke, and it's probably not a problem playing on Linux.

Wouldn't run outside of safe mode on GE8 or other Proton options. I guess DX11 was inserted in GE9?
Glad GE9 works, wasn't going to play if I had to rely on D3D.

Tried all suggestions other users here posted, could not get it to work.
Tried manual dx installations and startup commands through protontricks as well as startup commands in steam

salvo ese error es perfectamente jugable
se ha cerrado de golpe en el mapa D6 un par de veces, iniciando en modo seguro funcionó perfecto

Works perfectly but requires manual directx 11 install which can be easily done with proton tricks
None
In order for the game to launch without any errors, you must install directx 11, otherwise the first time you run it, it will crash (though you can run it safe mode) Just run protontricks, select the install a Windows DLL or component, then select d3dx11_42 and d3dx11_43 and let the installer do its magic (there will be no confirmation box or anything, it's a silent install, if you get some sort of pop up or something like that, then something went wrong).
After doing this, the game will run perfectly with no issues.
Game crashes if you don't manually install directx11, which you can do easily via protontricks
Again, REQUIRES YOU TO MANUALLY INSTALL DIRECTX11 OR THE GAME WILL CRASH THE FIRST TIME! (but works in safe) Directx11 can be easily installed via protontricks

The game crashes in DirectX 11 mode. You have to run it with DirectX 9 to make it work.
You also need to manually set your screen resolution.

Works without issues

Playable
In-game vsync is broken; Some glitches in cutscenes, possibly due to high FPS
Don't touch dx11 and physx options
RADV_PERFTEST=gpl PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

Played all the story start to finish on the Steam Deck (both in detached and docked mode). No issues to report, besides a strange glitch in the Trolley Battle that made the controls unresponsive but was quickly solved by uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Does not start
Tried both Proton-GE and "normal" Proton, but couldn't get past: "D3D: Cannot extract driver info!". Also tried Safe Mode.
RADV_PERFTEST=gpl, PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1
Not working.
Had to install DirectX11 via protontricks in order to get it to launch, but smooth afterwards.
RADV_PERFTEST=gpl %command%
Disable Advanced Physx.
I encountered lots of framerate drops and flikkering with other proton versions, GE fixed that.

Rarely some crackling but only in cutscenes
At start it begins with a windowed screen and then it will continue.
With default steam settings it will crash when u choose DX11. When changing to GE proton the problem is over!
Everything works fine except Vsync.
Doesn't work at all.
tried different Proton version, including Experimental and GE
I get the dialog asking to start in Safe mode, but whatever I choose, it will just stop running.
Runs perfectly OOTB.
The game runs with zero issues OOTB. If you can, play this instead of Redux. Way better.
Game required two launches. On second launch it asks for safe mode requiring touch imput to select. Then just modifying the resolution to match the Decks aspect ratio. Ran flawlessly after that.
Intial launch will fail and the second launch will let you choose safe mode. After this the game is flawless.
Crashes at launch by default and then asks to launch in safe mode. Do this, then change DirectX version in the menu to DX9. Works fine after that.
10-20 minutes of fiddling and looking up anwsers on protondb before i could get it playable
Only ran in DX9
Game refuses to boot unless in safe mode on multiple proton versions, Glorious eggroll wouldnt even prompt to boot in safe mode before crashing
Game crashes during startup, on second startup with non-GE you can select safe mode to get into the menu. DX9 has to be used to get stable gameplay
Wont work out of the box but by reverting to DX9 you can get stable gameplay
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
15-25 FPS with Very High and 1280x720
game can hang system after some time
game will crash first time but not second time with safe mode
1603141982 proton-5.0-10b
Although I have used GE-Proton, the game works fine with regular Proton as well.
Works great, but stick with DX9 only

Installed protontricks from this tutorial: https://simpler-website.pages.dev/html/2021/1/protontricks/
Then ran these commands in terminal: protontricks 43110 d3dx9_43 physx protontricks 43110 ffdshow l3codecx winxp directshow
Note that you will need NVIDIA 418.49.04 drivers in order for this game to work, I had 390 drivers on my laptop and the game wasn't even starting (by trying all possible commands in Steam's game properties launch options or running protontricks commands). After I've upgraded my NVIDIA drivers, the game finally did run.
