Works out of the box.
Specifically the sound of the camera flip is a little lower quality than I remember it being on Windows.
This game works perfectly fine out of the box!
Works OOTB
crashes when you alt tab

On different versions of Proton I tried, there are either windowing issues or the game crashes. Works perfectly on GE-Proton9-11
Dosen't play properly after trying various fixes and versions of proton

After going through many different and launch options, the closest i could get to properly runing was with large black bars around the screen and 15FPS on proton 5.10 with the PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
launch option
Works perfectly on my Laptop
Proton Experimental gives the best performance. It is still playable w/ 8.0-5, and 5.0-10.

Hitting stop in steam will not close the game. Have to kill the window with the wm. not a big deal.
Running Ubuntu, installed steam w/ deb pkg and got 5-10 fps. Reinstalled with Flatpak and it runs perfect. ATM the deb/apt packages are broken. Use Flatpak.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Had to set the launch options else the game was running in 1-5 fps. In 1366x768 there was a black screen so I had to change to 1280x720 to prevent this. You CAN use proton 8.0-5 but for better experience use 5.0-10. With 8.0-5 the game was most likely working in 60fps but sometimes it would fall to 5-10 fps but just for a few seconds before it gets back to 60.

First of all game is not drawing to monitor if you try to play on fullscreen you have to change it to windowed mode by pressing alt+enter. You can't resize the windows. If you resize game windows kinda brokes.
Game is starting after a few seconds.
Works perfectly OOTB

enabled clipping
Gamma was doubled, I had to use xgamma to cut my entire system's gamma in half to make the game look correct.
Enabling mouse clipping is completely optional, I only did it because I wanted to make it so I couldn't accidentally click off the game.
it runs well
the game plays well, played the first 4 nights and havent seen any issues
Needed to switch to older version of proton (5.0-10)
Works perfectly out-of-the-box
Using Fedora 38 (KDE). Game works without any issues whatsoever.
Works But Acts Really Weird
on night 1, bonnie moves instantly from cam 2A to my door, does not move for 2 hours. i get the 'its me' thing about 4-5 times. and i get golden freddy !! what?!?!?!
Runs perfectly OOTB.
Game runs with zero issues OOTB.

On 1920x1080 3/4 of the screen is black. Works fine after changing resolution to 1280x720
Put the game to run with Proton 5.0-10 :)
Runs flawlessly on Linux
Worked perfectly
Remember to set your refresh rate to 60Hz. The game runs at 60FPS
The game worked perfectly upon install, got past Night 6 without any issue.
WARNING FOR MULTI-MONITOR USERS: Depending on Proton version, mouse or video will not work in a multi-monitor set-up unless using Proton 3.16. And in that version you will not be able to use your other monitors without the game crashing, but if you can avoid doing that you should be able to play the game at least.
proton eg
invered red blue
No tweaks needed, runs flawlessly
It worked fine, graphical issues may need fixing but I think that's the games' fault!
Screen tearing
The game froze and glitched when switching using ALT+Enter
Was able to beat the main game plus 20/20/20/20 mode without issue
Literally flawless. Absolutely no issues.
As good as windows
Worked just fine with 5.0-7. Absolutely no issues running on a multi screen monitor.
D9VK allows Fullscreen to work correctly.
Works Flawlessly in Windowed Mode.
Black Screen when Fullscreen, used Alt+Enter to enter Windowed mode. No issues in Windowed.
