Dosen't play properly after trying various fixes and versions of proton
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
After going through many different and launch options, the closest i could get to properly runing was with large black bars around the screen and 15FPS on proton 5.10 with the PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% launch option
unset LD_PRELOAD; SteamDeck=1 force_vk_vendor=-1 gamemoderun %command% -dx12 -ngxdisableota
Can't seem to save highlights properly, but that's fine as I usually just record it with OBS when I want to save one
Tinkering is not nessecary, other than the SteamDeck=1, which following the release of S1 is the only way to get the game running on linux. Everything else just helps with preformance and preventing crashes/freezes. Everything else works as expected. Happy gaming!
Install the Wallpaper Engine Plugin for KDE
On ocassion, my wallpaper would black when i log in to my desktop. Changing the renderer in the KDE plugin fixed this issue.
