Noticeable input latency, but that could just be my setup.
Say what you will about Ubisoft, but their games have always worked very well on Linux for me.

I'm currently about 13 hours in and have experienced two crashes so far. These crashes are so infrequent, and there are usually so many automatic save-points, that they don't bother me that much.
The performance is decent enough. I get about 80-110 FPS in the wilds and around 50-60 FPS in Paradis (the main city in Dawnshore, the first region of the game). There are some very rare crashes. I play with Raytracing off (why is it even on by default?) on high settings with DLSS set to balanced. The performance is good enough and the game still looks beautiful.
I was not able to perceive any performance degradation compared to Windows.
Manually updated PunkBuster using Protontricks, as the other comments on here recommended.
The game runs well after forcing Proton Experimental. On any other versions of Proton I've tried, the EA App failed to install and I couldn't launch the game. I also updated PunkBuster manually via Protontricks and the Windows executable from the PunkBuster website.
Ran flawlessly, even in DX12 mode with the highest graphics settings, DLSS and Raytracing on high.

Runs perfectly on my system. Had crashed when tabbing out of the game, but fixed it with Protontricks as stated below.

I experienced crashes when tabbing out of the game. This can be fixed by emulating a desktop via Protontricks. To do this, launch Protontricks and open your Doom prefix. If you get warnings popping up, ignore them and keep clicking 'ok'. In the next menu, choose 'Select the default wineprefix' and after that 'Run winecfg'. There go to the 'Graphics' tab, check 'Emulate a virtual desktop' and change the resolution to your display's native one. Don't forget to apply the new settings.
Experienced crashing when tabbing out of the game. Fix is listed above.
Most people would probably find the game playable, but the high input lag just bugged me too much.
Followed the instructions on https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/840-dead-space-mouse-fix/ to try and get rid of the mouse lag.
Minor artifacts on reflective surfaces
Infrequent stuttering and freezing
The framerate was decent on my system, but there was some stuttering. Especially in the early flight sequence. There was also high input latency, which I was unable to get rid of, even after applying the fix suggested here: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/840-dead-space-mouse-fix/. I'm unsure whether I want to keep playing like this. The input lag is very bothersome.
gamemoderun %command%
No issues. Runs just as well as on Windows, except for some barely noticeable input delay. The average person probably wouldn't notice it at all.
Performance is great OOTB, but losing focus caused the game to crash. There is a fix for this, however.
gamemoderun %command% -enabledeveloperconsole
The game was crashing when its window lost focus. I used protontricks to configure it to emulate a virtual desktop as suggested by Infernio and the crashes stopped.
As mentioned, losing focus crashed the game. Can be fixed by emulating a virtual desktop.
The game froze very consistently every 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, or 14 minutes using Wayland. Tabbing out and back into the game made it run again, but I had to switch to X11 to solve this issue permanently.
gamemoderun %command% -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+
The game consistently froze every 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, or 14 minutes using Wayland. Tabbing out and back into the game made it run again, but I had to switch to X11 to solve this issue permanently.
The game sometimes fails to launch through EA Desktop. It always works on the second attempt, though.
Runs surprisingly well OOTB. There is some stuttering, but Windows users have reported this too.

Disabled bloom by editing "User\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age The Veilguard\settings\ProfileOptions_profile" in the Proton prefix and changing "GstRender.UI_Bloom 1" to "GstRender.UI_Bloom 0"
Minor graphical artefacts on some characters' faces (e.g. wounded Harding)
Does not launch. The Rockstar launcher loads for a couple of minutes and then says the game is already running.
SteamDeck=1 PROTON_BATTLEYE_RUNTIME=~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Proton\ BattlEye\ Runtime/ %command%
I've tried all the suggestions posted on here, including adding SteamDeck=1 as a launch parameter. I've also tried different proton versions (proton-cachyos, Proton Experimental, Proton 9), but to no avail. I have been able to launch the game ONCE, but was kicked out of GTA Online for not having BattleEye enabled (even though I have it installed and as a launch parameter). Any further attempts at launching it were unsuccessful.

My story-mode save game is gone. I have to restart it from scratch.
Issues with launching the game. More infos and a fix below.
Previously, I could not launch the game via Steam, but I seem to have accidentally found a solution that works reliably on my system. This is what I did:
- Add SteamDeck=1 to launch parameters and force Proton Experimental.
- Start the game via Steam (log into the R* launcher, if prompted).
- Stop the game via Steam once you get to the loading screen in the launcher. This would load for minutes and fail to start the game for me.
- Start the game once again via Steam. The game should launch now.
Using this method, I can play the story mode without problems and with a surprisingly good framerate. Online still doesn't work. It tells me I don't have BattlEye enabled.
Borderless fullscreen has a small white border. Switching to exclusive fullscreen fixed this.
The performance is great, but there are frequent issues with launching the game and running it in fullscreen
game-performance %command%
Alt-tabbing out of fullscreen has a high chance of causing a black screen when tabbing back in, that remains until the game is restarted. The borderless fullscreen mode also has a white border around the window.
When launching the game via Steam, the game sometimes only shows a black screen, forcing me to manually close it and start it again. The same happens occasionally when tabbing out of fullscreen.
Matchmaking doesn't work at all on Proton versions other than Experimental.
Couldn't get it to launch, no matter what Proton version I use
The audio is sometimes very quiet, even on the highest volume levels. I'm not sure if this is an issue with my setup, but I don't have this problem in other games.
It runs perfectly fine with a very good framerate even on the highest settings.
game-performance %command%
I was unable to launch this game using the native Linux version of the game. However, the game launches and runs without any issues after switching to Proton and enabling the Vulkan beta.
No notes. Runs flawlessly on my system.
I followed the advice of valkyrie.sys and added VCRUN2022 and d3dcompiler_47 to Palia's Proton prefix. Without this, the game would not start.
The game is playable, but I eventually gave up after trying to get my Realtone cable working in-game multiple times
Tried following this popular guide to get my Realtone cable working properly, but was unsuccessful: https://github.com/theNizo/linux_rocksmith
It may be partly due to my own incompetence that I failed, but I encountered issues at almost every step of the guide and eventually gave up.
Can't use the Realtone cable or my audio interface OOTB.
The game is still playable without any audio input devices. You obviously won't have note detection and everything, but it's playable. No input devices were detected for me and trying to get them to work was such a massive hassle that I gave up on it (after failing multiple times on multiple distros). It's much easier to just switch back to my Windows installation every once in a while just to play this game.
game-performance %command%
Even on the lowest possible graphics settings, I was struggling to reach 60 FPS in the game's opening scene. This, combined with the high input latency, makes it unplayable for me.
I tried playing with both proton-cachyos and Proton Experimental, adding and removing launch arguments, but nothing helped to increase the performance.
The only part that's bugging me is that I have to scroll through and accept the EULA every single time I launch the game. I have tried the supposed fix from the Reddit thread down below, stating you can work around this problem by manually adding the eula.settings file to the game's directory. This did not fix the issue for me. Maybe it works for someone else, though. Here is the link to the Reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/comments/17ni7h3/have_to_accept_eula_every_time_after_logging_in/

Frequent stuttering. The game is still playable, but it's slightly annoying.
Rare crashes in multiplayer sessions.
Was able to play online with Windows users.
After playing in multiplayer with Windows users for an extended period of time, I experienced frequent but bearable stuttering and one game crash that froze up my system and took some effort to resolve. No other issues.
After about an hour of playtime, the game started to stutter violently, making the game basically unplayable. This happened only in more intense action scenes with lots of particles and effects. I did not experience stutter in calmer scenes. Because of this, I turned down the graphics settings to high instead of ultra, but I haven't yet tested whether that helps. Restarting the game seems to fix it temporarily.
At some point, the aforementioned stuttering got so bad that I attempted to alt-tab out of the game to search for possible solutions online, but that caused KWin to freeze, and my system became completely unresponsive and had to be force-reset.
In spite of the stuttering, the game runs at a good, stable frame rate, even on the highest graphics settings.
LD_PRELOAD="" %command%
The game ran at a constant 5-6 FPS.
I had a constant 5-6 FPS in the tutorial. Enabling DLSS boosted this up to 12 FPS, so at least DLSS works lol.
Seems like they fixed the unplayable performance since the last time I tried it. I haven't experienced any performance issues on the latest version of the game.

Manually installed some mods with Script Merger.
Fairly strong input lag using DX12
NVIDIA-typical performance issues using DX12
The game sometimes crashes, but not that often. Could just be my mods.
It runs fine using DX11, but (as usual with NVIDIA) there are some performance issues and input lag with DX12, which the game utilises by default. You can switch which graphics API is used in the game's launcher. There are some occasional crashes, but those could be caused by my mods.
There was no lag or stuttering, and I did not experience any crashes or other issues.
Was able to play with a friend without any issues.

After joining other people's games, I lose connection after about a minute. I was only able to play with friends when I was the host.
In order to be able to play this game with friends, I had to do the following:
- Switch to the "Bypass launcher" beta on Steam
- Set the launch options above (not sure if this helped, but others in this thread recommended it)
- Be the lobby host, as joining other people causes me to lose connection after a minute or so
