Works fine with KB/M controls, but the controls themselves felt pretty bad so I would not recommend it.

Game does not start/gets stuck on black screen when choosing Gamepad or DUALSHOCK4 option in the launcher. Keyboard and Mouse option works.
6.1-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Sometimes the cutscene audio fell out of sync, alt-tabbing seems to have fixed it sometimes though.
About 10 crashes in 55 hours of playtime.
Crashed on start with default proton, but runs fine with 6.1-GE-2.
Constant crashes during the intro race or while loading into it.
Can't launch after 12.11 update
Tried with 5.0-4 and proton-ge-5rc-mhw
Have to be in Borderless mode to be able to tab out.
As of version 12.11.01 it works fine with Proton 5.0-5 again.
Alt-Tabbing was kinda wonky, switching into Windowed and then back to Fullscreen mode worked though.
When an enemy died as he was kicked off-screen the game's graphics would freeze, sound and normal gameplay still seems to continue. Alt-Tabbing may fix it.
Had the game play wrong audio during 2 cutscenes in the first chapter.
Some cutscenes play wrong audio files. If the audio file is shorter than the cutscene, the cutscene will end prematurely. Getting infinite loading screens now (Part 3, Chapter 3) and can't continue the story.
Performance (default settings, 1080p) is okay most of the time, some times in the city (possibly loading in new parts?) FPS go down and I also often have FPS dips when activating heat actions. Starting the game with a gamepad (DS4 connected via USB) crashes the game. Plugging it in after starting the game works (shows Xbox button faces instead of PS). Changing graphics settings ingame make the game crash, but changing the .ini file in the prefix (steamapps/compatdata/927380/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Application Data/Sega/YakuzaKiwami2/) works fine.
There were some short delays between (fight) animations and cutscenes in the first couple hours, have not noticed any of it lately though.
Alt-Tabbing made it not take my keyboard input any more, alt tabbing again fixed it usually though.
DS4 works with Steam Input disabled.
