Arcanum Multiverse Edition (AME) +HiRes Patch:
The game folder, edit SierraLauncher.ini to Game1Exe=Config.exe
Delete game folder Arcanum ".../steamapps/common/Arcanum/Arcanum"
Delete game Proton prefix ".../steamapps/compatdata/500810"
Run Steam game and quit Launcher, a Proton prefix will be created.
Move files AME to the game folder, for convenience ".../Arcanum/Arcanum"
Install AME+tick for Steam, path ".../steamapps/common/Arcanum/Arcanum":

I advise you to use Proton 6.3 with mf-install, because the game works perfectly and without crashes. Change WINEPREFIX="path to game/738520/pfx" and PROTON="path to proton/Proton 6.3" if necessary.

Without the sound of the environment, the atmosphere of the game is lost. For tests only.
There are no remote sounds, generated by NPCs: enemy shots, environment conversations and radio. If you aim the scanner, the sound will appear except for the radio.

Fixes:
- The game often crashes if the nvidia driver is less than 455.45.01
- To disable the GOG launcher, add the launch parameter:

Mouse need be fixed
The problem of the crooked console porting of the game, not the proton. The mouse sometimes freezes in the sight mode.
The game may freeze while saving graphics settings. AMD FidelityFX - image may freeze, but main menu works.
Use GloriousEggroll proton-ge-custom, before installing the game.
You can run with GloriousEggroll or install mf-install by copying the code below. The code indicates the path to the home directory, specify your path if necessary for WINEPREFIX and PROTON

Proton-6.1-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
I used Proton-6.1-GE-2 because there are fewer problems with it. Remove the old Proton 39510 prefix, start the game and exit. Install DirectX Music, and if you need mods (Player Kit, Union, etc.), install Visual C++ 2010.
In the game settings, select Soundprovider - Miles Fast
This is a game engine problem.

Video settings: shadows above the "low", microfreezes appear. The rest is Ultra ~100fps
Works without problems!
Shadows and lighting flicker in homes at "ultra high" settings. I changed the "Lighting to very high" and "Shadows to medium" and the problem went away. Remained a barely noticeable ripple in the doorway and a slight flicker of the window frame.

Sometimes the sky turns black for 1 sec.
Rare minor freezes. The game might crash. Disable APEX Physx so that the game does not crash. Enable VSync to avoid bugs (transparent NPCs, time dilation stuck, etc.).
To play with APEX Physx:
- Install NVIDIA CUDA

- Check NVIDIA CUDA: download, give launch rights and run CUDA-Z. If CUDA-Z starts without error, physx will run through the Nvidia GPU.
