No controller support
No controller support via Steam SDK. Turning off Steam controller input causes a crash before menu loads. In game Discussion forum developer stated no Linux/Steam Deck support is planned.
Need to use Steam controller SDK
Game will crash before menu if Steam controller inputs arn disabled.
Works out of the box. Though if your controller works in the menu but not the game itself, you need to restart the game.
Crashes 5 minutes into a run.
Can't complete a run.
Started in "windowed fullscreen". When switching to fullscreen locked up desktop.
Game is unoptimized, but works. Might be okay if you have a GTX 1060 or thereabouts. Still in early access so I expect optimizations in the future.
It Works!!!
Works out of the box for both me (Manjaro) and a friend (Gentoo). Multiplayer had some disconnects, but that's normal according to average reports until bug fixes happen. In-game audio/mic works fine. I recommend. No trouble with the anti--cheat. No tinkering needed.
Use Proton to get the controller to work. Also had some issues starting game for the first time using native Linux.
Controller no worky on Linux native.
Posting here even though it has a native Linux version. If on Arch and you get the libcurl.so.4/CURL3 error make sure your environment variable "LANG" is not set to "C".
Flawless on Proton 7.0
Running native had some stuttering issues. Proton 7.0 was much better, running at 90 FPS on this system with no issues. Using proprietary Nvidia driver.
Runs good, possible crashes
1 crash happened thus far, no save state was made by program.
Unoptimized, no video options.
Windowed mode causes performance issues.
Video stutter, possibly caused by async. No video options in game. Makes game unplayable.
Crashes after splash screen. Tried all versions of Proton.
Runs good on older Proton, with a bit of lag on loading new assets. White screen on Proton 7.0
EAC borked
Followed instructions from squadfm.org (Valve EAC lib)
Can't play due to EAC error.
All good, but no DLSS
Was able to enable Ray Tracing, but DLSS is grayed out. Tried all sorts of recommended launch options. Still looks really good though!
