I just installed and runned it to test it, and it was surprisingly good, although I had some fps problems on the main menu
I got some fps problem on the main menu, but the game itself runs smoothly
You can play, but without sound
No audio, no music, nothing.
I did as those before me recommended.
If you alt+tab, the game will crash
If you try to play as steamplay, the game will crash. You need to install and config protontricks. It isn't difficult, but still has some issues, like alt+tabbing.
The game doesn't start, and you have to kill the process
I didn't try what others bellow me said, but if you try to use the proton version steam gives, it doesn't work.
You can play well, but be prepared for some stuttering
The game stutters frequently.
When you try to close the game, steam still treats it as if it was open.
Actually, I felt a better performance on linux than on Windows.
I tested on some heavy particle levels (like Vega), and the lowest fps I got was 35 (on Windows it was 15). The reason is because on Linux I can use Vulkan, and on Windows, for some strange reason, the game crashes when I try to use it.
I did what others before me have recommended, and I used the proton tool. So far, so good, no problems encountered.
Apart from a small bug, it run perfectly
It just happened once, but one time I was unable to move the camera with the mouse, because the game though I was using the inventory, when I wasn't. But I didn't play on Windows, so may be related to the game, not the OS.
The game installs, but it doesn't start
Also, it fails to close down, I have to kill the process
You can run it well using SteamPlay
The game crashed two times while playing, due to a memory error.
NOTE: I'm just using SteamPlay because, for some reason, the native version doesn't work well.
If your rig is powerful enough, you won't have any problem I believe.
When the FPS was quite low (16 or less), sometimes the game didn't renderize the lasers. But I believe this is related to my hardware not being powerful enough than to Linux itself.
The game didn't run well on my laptop, but I think it's related more to my hardware than to Linux itself.
You can play the game without any issues
Though I have some performance problems, I think they are related more to my hardware than to Linux itself.
It just take a time to start, but it runs well
The game takes a long time to open, but just to open. The rest runs fine
Aside from the problems I told, you can play it well and have a good time.
When I exit from the game, it crashes and I need to kill the process
If you install the game in another language, you'll need to put it in english first, or it'll give you an "CD not found" error
Proton 5.9-GE-5-ST GloriousEggroll
I just installed the latest GloriousEggroll version. It isn't difficult though.
The game has no sound. The only sound is from the update window.
The game has a lot of stuttering, even with low graphics.
