It is hard to read on the smaller stream deck screen but if you are using an external screen it works fine.
The only issue that was encoutered is when you first open it you have to tap the word play with with the touch screen or with trackpad.
If you are using an external monitor it is fine but it is hard to read on the deck itself.
Sometimes the textures took a little longer to load but it loads the textures but it wasn't super noticeable.
I had no issues playing co-op with a friend on windows.
I had no issues running the game. I only set the proton version to experimental and it worked.

Game just works fine aside from the odd text issues mentioned but I am loving the game.
For some reason some of the boxes overlap causing the dialog text to not be readable.
Randomly there are times where the game will hiccup and freeze for like a 1/4 of a second but then continue fine. It isn't awful and is easily ignored but it is Weird.
Game just installs and works. If not for the limitations of the Steam Deck linux would have no issues with this game.
There was 1 incident of an audio clip getting stuck but it hasn't happened since.
The Steam Deck Hard is on the lower end so you will have Frame Rate Problems on higher diffculties if there is do many entities on the screen.
There are occasional crashes but that is also happening withs Windows user so it probably isn't proton related.

The game works great but make sure you use ProtonUp-Qt to download and install Proton-6.5-GE-1. From there right click the game > gear icon > properties > compatibility. Check the Foce the use of specific Steam Play Compatibliity tool box, and then select proton-6.5-GE-1. Once that is done. The game just works. Minor tinkering but it is worth it because it will run without issues if you use that version.

There is a strange issue with the fog that casues to to be higher than it should as well as some minor lighting issues. Overall still fun and enjoyable.

I played on an external monitor. It is possible that if you are playing in Handheld the text could be small.
The game will start with mouse only. You have to go into the settings using the mouse, or setting up the trackpad like a mouse, to turn on the input for a controller. Once the input is changed, the game will use the 360 controller layout from there on.
In some other the other proton versions, the game would crash while loading a save.
The game seems to be broken on windows causing it to partly be broken in proton. While using some of the other Proton Version the game would either fail to launch or crash while loading. Using the GE proton version I did, it seemed to be working.
It took some time to get the game working. The game appears to be broken on windows as well which is the cause of the problems in linux. I had to verified my game cache mutiple times and try different version of proton before it would work. Still a fun game but it no longer works out of the box thanks to 2K breaking it.
