Online play doesn't work at all
Game runs perfect if you don't mind only playing singleplayer/local multiplayer
No issues whatsoever. Finished tutorial and played several rounds of digging with some Windows friends. Ultra settings at 1080p with no hiccups.

Works perfectly without needing to do anything
63 hours and almost beat the game. Boots and runs just fine. Some minor graphical happened a few times which aren't game-breaking or significant which fixed themselves by going to the next dialogue. Playtime was split between this PC and my Manjaro laptop with an i5-7200U.
No issues present and no tweaks needed to run the 64-bit version of the game. Running Ultra settings at 1080p. Unfortunately couldn't get the Grim Internals mod running, but others have had success. Check out the Grim Dawn's post on Proton's Github page for instructions on how to get Grim Internals working. https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/466#issuecomment-483628753
No issues whatsoever on my end. Online play worked just fine when playing with my brother.
Runs decent enough at 50-70fps on high-ish. There's some graphical glitches here and there. No online play (due to EAC) unless you play on non-EAC servers which results in no progress towards ranking or currency for cosmetics. On one Checkpoint map (Crossing), my game always crashes and locks up my computer within minutes of playing on the map. The other Checkpoint maps work fine though.
Can't launch the game at all
Tried several proton versions
Get a couple of error dialogues and can't even get to the splash screen or main menu. Even tried several older proton builds and a Glorious Eggroll build just in case.
No tinkering required. Just works. Currently no steam cloud, but cloud saves are offered by the creator by making an account or can easily export your saves and import it elsewhere if necessary. Says this is due to crossplay (PC/Android/IOS I think?), but steam cloud in the plans though.
Not as easy to navigate compared to on my mouse and keyboard on my computer, but didn't have any issues with the game and was able to play just fine. Just need to create an account with Melvor in order to get cloud saves working between my PC and the Steam Deck.
Launches with no issue. Fullscreen and Windowed work. Completed the first 15 puzzles. Downloaded and completed a custom puzzle. Puzzle creator and image import works.
No performance issues or stuttering with running the game on 4k Play with my friends and family all the time and very enjoyable experience.
Can't use the voice recognition feature for Ouija board or angering the ghost, but that doesn't affect gameplay that much.
Created character and played two matches with no issues. Only issue is the game crashes on exit and requires a force close.
No problems. Max settings running similar to my brother's Windows install. Multiplayer works.
Just works right out of the box.
Running at 4k with a few settings turned down. No framerate issues here.
Installed, booted up the game, and was able to connect with my brother and play for about 25 hours without a single problem.
No issues. Both DX11 and DX10 modes work for me with no tweaks needed. Running highest settings at 1080p. Frames can dip when a lot of players are on, but that's expected of any system. I've had a couple crashes, but I don't think that's exclusive to Proton as my windows friend has crashed just as much as I have.
Had to manually force game to use Proton as there's probably a broken Linux build from the devs. Had to use "--skip-intro" launch option otherwise game crashes with error when launching.
There's no audio at all. Can't progress through story mode as the game won't play a cut scene or something. Played a 1v1 match on multiplayer against a bot just fine.
