The game periodically will freeze like it's loading but in only certain areas. This is from the the game itself vs running on Linux and using Proton. I have same experience when running this in Windows 11 on running latest updates and drivers.
Other than the occasional "freeze while loading" that the game does itself (which is a dev issue) the game plays flawlessly.
Game plays very smoothly. No change of settings of any kind, just install and play.
Graphics and game play was very smooth and responsive. After switching to Proton-6.20-GE-1 all audio issues were resolved.
Some audio would be missing, only ambient was being heard and this was using Proton 6.3.7. After switching to Proton-6.20-GE-1 all audio issues were resolved.
Game play was very smooth. I was able to login to my Microsoft Account from within game without issue. Audio was top notch
Used Proton Experimental. Proton 6.21 GE-1 did not work for me.
Very smooth experience. Opening cut scene had some missing textures, but nothing that affects menus or game play.
It appears there are some parts of the initial graphics in the menus I get the vertical color bars indicating not loading the intended graphic or graphics, this is minor and does not take away from the game or from configuring settings.
I have zero issues with playing this game. It works right out of the box and I use GE Proton as default when playing games in Steam.
Very smooth game play and not experienced any bugs. GE-Proton is just my personal preference.
No issues at all.
Experienced no issues with Multiplayer at all
Game works great. Didn't have to do any tinkering to get the game to work. Was able to start the game after install and hop into multi-player.
Had no issues launching the game and playing. Did not have to use any tweaks or launch peramiters to get the game to play.
I made no modifications at all and the game launched and played smoothly. I did not play for long just long enough to see if there were any launch issues or performance problems and I found none.
I use GE Proton as a personal preference, and I have zero issues getting this game to run. No issues here.
This game is great on the Steam Deck. I'm not the biggest fan of trying to play ARPGs like this with a controller, but Last Epoch has implemented a great way to use controller and its great on the Deck.
With Glorious Eggroll or Default Proton now, game launches without issue provided mentioned launch option is used.
Proton 6.20 GE-1
Had to uninstall game and install to new location to get game working again. Controller stopped being detected.
Had to use launch option: -sgadriver=Vulkan once used I was able to launch game without issue. Before using launch option game would crash out to desktop before it could fully load.
Game works great natively. No issues at all when playing and no tweaks necessary.
Works great on my Steam Deck as well.
Game ran extremely smooth for me. I use Glorious Eggroll 6.13 and had absolutely zero issues playing the intro section of the game.
GloriousEggroll 6.13
Game works right out of the box. No tweaks to proton. Performance is great and no issues with graphics or audio at this time.
The game works great with either GE's Proton variant or steam's default. I use GE's by default as a personal preference.
Glorious Eggroll
Experienced slight hangs and then the game would smooth out. This was happening every few seconds until I used Glorious EggRoll (Proton 5.21-GE-1). After applying GE everything smoothed out.
