Rizzick

Brick Rigs is completely enjoyable by default on the Steam Deck.
I added buttons which were required for gameplay as well as turning on the right trackpad as a mouse.
Lowered settings.
Some text is rather small.
Unwieldy in handheld, KB+M recommended, but unenjoyable due to performance issues.
In the end I switched to a physical KB+M
The keyboard would not use the correct inputs when typing in the addons tab.
Hilarously unoptimized, no addons, similar performance to with when destroying the "Destructible Tower Fortress" dupe. phys_town_v2 runs awfully.
Doing basically anything physics related will run better on worse hardware than the Deck. Larger builds will tank the FPS depending on size. I suppose running the Windows version on Proton would be better.
Game loads to menu, attempts to load tutorial and fails due to EAC.
I actually got into the tutorial for a minute or so. The game looks great and runs consistently at 60FPS on the Deck.
Perfect, no adjustments required.
You'll need to look at the control scheme though to get a hang of it.
Everything except FMVs were perfect.
The audio in the ending cutscene was distorted, but that was it.
Excellent experience on the Deck. Gyro makes headshots way easier.
MGO and FOB gameplay was perfect, other than occasional FPS drops in the MGO lobby.
No problems at all. In your case you may want to tweak some of the default control settings with gyro, but works absolutely fine.
Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis runs perfectly once Proton GE is used. An almost identical experience to running on Xbox One or PS4.
Using the Steam recommended Proton, I found that the game suffered from long load times and stuttered when exploring and fighting in New Genesis. Timers are attatched to the online experience so they were running while I was loading.
Base PSO2 wasn't tested but I would assume that they would run the same.
Cannot hit 60FPS but otherwise absolutely fine
Lowered settings, locked to 30FPS.
Installs Rockstar Launcher, requires you to log in, takes a second to boot afterwards then whenever launched again.
FSR makes volumetric clouds have a streaky border.
In docked mode, cannot surpass 720p.
Occasionally the game doesn't sync your save to the cloud and you have to press a prompt.
Can look as good as XB1 and PS4 at similar settings (about medium). Min battery usage at full low (doesn't even look too bad).
Perfect except for the docking resolution issue.
Limited TDP to 8 watts, GPU clock to 800.
After undocking, the game reduced the resolution to 16:9 instead of maintaining the Steam Deck's full resolution
Works perfectly.
TDP limited to 8.
Mods work too.
Regular controller binds are good, as with all Deck titles it may eat battery quite quickly.
Game defaults to ultra settings, doesn't run particularly well, lowered to medium. Optionally you can put on laptop mode for power saving.
No issues in gaming mode but opens up 8 seperate windows of Origin in Desktop mode you see when tabbing out.
Does not start, tried versions of proton, used latest version of GloriousEggroll, does not launch.
Sadly borked and I do not know how I would fix it.
Works excellently, the game includes controller binds by default if you want to use those.
Altered left trackpad to be a virtual menu containing menu actions, removed mode shift since controls are shared mainly.
You can't open links in Glyph, but other than that you just press play.
The only issues I had were with my internet.
I've uploaded my binds as "Xbox-like binds". In terms of graphics settings, I found that increasing the render distance and decreasing the other settings to medium worked best for me in terms of visibility and visual quality.
Runs fine out of the box, settings changed to push battery life.
High textures, low/off everything else. 30FPS cap.
Although I didn't install it till after I finished the game, SilentPatch fixes many performance problems with the game.
Although the game starts running at ultra, and does run fine, Yakuza 4 is an absolute power hog that I struggled to push time in.
In-game settings:
- High textures (all the old engine games can look like mush otherwise)
- Mid render distance
- Low/off for the rest of the setting
Deck performance settings:
- 6w TDP
- GPU clocked at 600mhz
Half rate shading does not do anything in Yakuza 0 to 5.
Go watch the cutscenes on YouTube if they cut off.
Shadow settings low, texture settings ultra, 16x texture filtering to retain visual fidelity. 30 FPS cap.
Cutscene audio is sometimes swapped.
Shinada is wearing his baseball outfit instead of his regular one.
Plays perfectly fine.
