Major stutters. Different fixes seemed to work and then suddenly no longer. Tried the wined3d thing, which worked a bit and then not. Tried SKIPINTRO which worked some times and others not.
Had one game with no crashes what so ever. The next a few hours later crashed every 5 minutes. The multiplayer fix seemed to work for the first game. For the next it no longer seemed to work. Reapplying the fix caused major performance issues.
The newer menues seems to cause major slow down (the red and gold ones).
Constant crashes in some games
Only tried GE-Proton7-41. Game installed and ran without issues.
gamescope -W 2560 -H 1600 -f -- %command%
Occasional crashes. Seems to happen on both the opengl version and the vulkan version. Vulkan performs terrible on my integrated graphics, but fine on the dedicated gpu. I could not however seem to pick my dedicated gpu in game, when graphics was set to hybrid, but forcing my whole system to run using the dgpu fixed this.
Only tried GE-Proton7-41, but the game installed, launched and played without any issues.
Two times during a complete playthrough I experience that the game suddenly stopped responding to input (one of the times it got stuck/repeated some initial input). Restarting the game resolved the issue.
Game runs smoothly. Controller input is mapped and shown correctly (I'm using an xbox style layout). I haven't tried the game on other platforms, but it ran as if native.
Can't get past ubisoft connect
Tried all the listed proton-versions, for some the game don't launch at all, for the rest ubisoft connect seems initialy work fine with login, but then fails to connect to a ubisoft service.
Haven't experienced any issues
I have no windows machine to compare against, but it seems to run reasonably well.I have not expierenced any issues.
Running the game through proton rather than the native version gave me the better performance - the native version ran quite bad. Both version however, crash after a some time have passed. I haven't found anything in game that seems to be causing this, but after about an hour of play time or so, the game freezes then crashes.
-resolution 2560 1600
16:10 only seems to be supported using the launch option to change the resolution.
Changed from DX12 to DX11 in game-launcher.
Using DX12 the game crashed as soon as the cutscenes ended and player control assumed. No bugs yet in DX11.
