Ran flawless on default proton
Played through the game. No issues occured.
Works perfectly
Perte de performance dans la ville. Mais rien de très embêtant.

gamescope -f -r 144 -w 3840 -h 2160 --force-grab-cursor -- %command%
Game works out of the box and works well with gamescope using my current launch options

runs without issue
ran with no crashing or slowdowns
Had to use proton GE 9-10. experimental, 9, and 8 proton version only resulted in black screen on start (no menu)

Flawless
Runs like native, not a single issue

Worked well, a bit of audio issues but very easy to play with them
Small crackling / clipping sounds every so often

Frequent stuttering/slight freezing when entering a new area, but always passes

Completely flawless OOTB
Nothing else to note. Runs fine and I encountered no bugs.

Rock solid
Played the entire thing through twice (replayed to get a better ending). Absolutely no issues at all on either playthrough.

DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command%
Worked fine out of the box, but then I noticed my GPU usage was at 100% all the time, trying to render as hight FPS as it could. Enabling VSync in the game didn't help.
Limiting FPS with launch options helped to solve the issue. After that the game was not amymore trying to go higher than 60 FPS. GPU usage and temperature stabilized.
Like native

Works just fine, there is minor stuttering/pausing when different zones load, this is normal. Good story, go in blind without knowing much, to enjoy the game to its fullest.
Ran perfect, no issues

PIPEWIRE_LATENCY=60 PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 nvidia-offload %command%
Long loading times and regular small stutter when moving the camera (likely related to the not fast HDD the game was stored on)
Didn’t tried on the SSD. Not forcing a large audio latency cause issues with my low latency pipewire configuration, like many other Windows game. nvidia-offload is the wrapper to run it on the D-GPU.
Works perfectly fine

1300hz GPU clock and 12 TDP
Occasional mini-stutter
Runs at a pretty much locked 40 fps until you break the golden rule, then you get a 5~10 fps drop. The game looks pretty good even with almost all settings set to low. The only one I recommend putting at higher than low/medium is anti-aliasing as setting it to anything lower than higher results in ugly artifacting around characters' hair. The game is very power hungry though so playing docked or at least with the charger plugged in is recommended.
Completed the game without any issues

Perfect playable with no tinkering. Battery hungry game does not like being placed in Sleep mode.
Limited framerate to 30fps.
If you resume a game which was placed in Sleep mode, the game's performance will be degraded to the point of unplayability.
The Forgotten City is a very enjoyable experience on Steam Deck. It chews powerfully through the battery, especially near the frequent fire/cauldron in-game scenery. Recommended 30fps lock. Game performance significantly degrades if resumed from Sleep mode. Recommend only playing on a freshly booted game session.

Full playthrough with no major issues
Occasional large FPS drops / lagging, especially when maneuvering quickly in certain areas. However, the drops never lasted long enough to cause any major gameplay issues.

Occasional graphical glitches at boundaries between different areas
gamemoderun %command%
Played it from start to finish on my Deck, no issues.
No issues on my playthrough.
Alt-tab didn't work, but at least it didn't make me go to the console to kill the game.
Works flawlessly out of the box, finished all endings with no crashing or hiccups.
works out of the box, as if it was native
I've noticed one or two significant stutters and frame drops, but as they always have been at the same points in game I think it is more an loading/engine problem than a proton problem.
Steam Deck can not quite maintain 60FPS on medium settings but never drops below 30FPS using 30FPS lock at greatly increased battery life.
Everything works perfectly fine, stellar performance.
Had to lower the graphics a little because of some performance issues, otherwise it runs flawlessly
Originally it ran very smooth on ultra, but after 30 min the game slowed to a crawl. Changing the graphics to medium fixed the issue
The developers/publishers logo did not show the first few launches. After a few launches it was shown. Does not impact gameplay in any way.
